Seoulmate, Thanks for posting those stellar pics of our Man with queen. He is looking fierce.
I have mixed feeling about him being on Idol. If it is something he wants to do -then all the power to him. I just don't want it to take any time away from his tour time. Haha, selfish reasons there as I can't wait to see him perform live. I am so jealous of you guys in London. I saw a question earlier about whether or not it was general/reserved seating since you are all queing up so early. Was there an answer to that Q. Anyway, have a great time.

I keep imagining myself at this first concert in London. Adam's family friends and lover will all be there. He will be on point guard making sure this is epic. (Will there be a fabulous new jacket?)  I also keep imagining Eber and everyone meeting Queen. So emotional 8-) (IMO). Can your imagine? Having drinks with Bri and Rog? Bullshitting about the good ole days and the now days. Maybe toasting Adam for his sensational performance..and Queen for theirs? Or Adam's Trespassing doing so well in the UK. I think it is. And TY for the vids and beautiful comments. I hope everyone there is going to (having) a memorable time in London. I'm excited to read the wonderful stories of your adventures. And nationalglampoon...stay focused and fierce. Meet Adam and for me...lick his neck. ;D |

" Thanks for bringing it over, houselady! Very nice write-up and perfect choice of photo for our State's general "sense & sensibility".  Last time for his concert article, they used a photo from Japan's promo performance with full-on makeup and spiky jacket. My in-laws thought he was a drag queen. This time around, my mother-in-law has commented more than once how attractive Adam is in his more natural self and she likes it. Phoenix is the 6th largest city in the US and the radio here has completely ignored him this era. With the Fair, the radio might just start playing him again, but most likely WWFM unless a new single comes out by then. |

I hope you get to meet Adam. Fingers Crossed. Is he likely to hang around for autographs and whatnot at these shows?  He may, he loves his fans, but he's got family + Sauli there - I think they all have catching up to do :-/ |

Here are two interesting articles that relate tangentially to Adam. I think it was mentioned before that Frank Ocean - rapper and R&B singer - has come out as bi or gay. He came out with a story on his tumblr about his first love being a man. Here is an article that also talks about his new album. entertainment.time.com/2012/07/10/frank-ocean-channelorange-review/Like Adam he now has to see if this will make a difference to sales, radio, etc. He has gotten a lot of support! Yay! This is the kickstarter for Amanda Palmer. Check out how much money she raised for a new album and an art book. She also sold out concerts. She is an indie artist with an established fan base. The idea of artists giving concert tickets in return for a donation - basically selling tickets in advance through kickstarter - eliminates ticketmaster. Wow, this could catch on. Spent the last hour or so thinking about if this Idol thing could really happen. And whether this is more than a rumor. I've been trying to figure out 1) Is Adam big enough 2) Why would Idol want him? Of course, the obvious answers came first: He is Articuate Outspoken Charming A trained vocalist that can give good critiques Charistmatic Gorgeous Easy to work with Part of the Idol family It was obvious how much the Idol audience loved him when he performed this year. I'm sure TPTB took note. Then I thought about something Slezak said. And for Idol, this may be the biggest thing Adam has going for him. He is gay. Idol has been severely criticized for keeping their gay contestants "under raps" and in previous years, the gay banter between Ryan and Simon. But the past year has brought the most crriticism due to the openly gay contestants on The Voice that are celebrated. Having an out & proud gay judge would silence those critics. I dunno. Just some thoughts. I have come to the conclusion that if Adam wants this, it is going to happen! |

So beautifully said. And I couldn't agree with you more. I agree with a lot of the above post. However, this fan/stan doesn't "fear" larger gauges or sleeve tattoos. I just plain don't like 'em - on anyone - ever. Same with black lipstick on Adam and crotch grabbing. Don't fear it - just don't like it. ;D Could be a part of the public feels the same. 8-) I'm with you fanoftheman. no fear - just don't like some of it. |
