A big part of the fun for me, was a Queen Fan right next to me who knew almost nothing about Adam but came with an open mind. He really enjoyed the show sooo much, was happy about every song that came on and sang along nonstop.
He made three remarkable comments (for Adam fans) throughout:
After the first song: "He's quite a vocalist right?" After the 3rd/4th song: "This guy is amazing, I love him!!!" After Somebody to love: "I am a convert!"
And Adam was gorgeous, funny, funky, sexy, classy, sang his heart out, great interpretation, what a showman, he really let loose (pun intended because he did it despite the pants situation), he was on fire, the best party ever!!!
Oh yeah, I did not listen for it, but later some critical Queen fans/musicians said he was flawless, did not miss a single note ;D ;D ;D

I was wondering about that...do you think he's breaking character or actually totally "in character"....the lyrics at that point "my smile still stays on". I'm not sure though, maybe you're right.

No, maybe you're right since I didn't pay attention to the words at that point. I just noticed it seemed odd that he suddenly smiled and appeared to be looking into the balcony.
Now whenever I see him glance into the balcony, I wonder if he's looking at Sauli.

Sounds like a great time was had by all. So happy the Queen fans listened with an open mind. I have a feeling that Saturday will be EPIC!!!! ;D

That smile was visible all the way up to row S .... seeing it and recognizing for who it was aimed at distinguished the Adam fans from the Queen fans for a moment. There is no guessing IMO ... Adam is not shy when Sauli is there, he shows it.
It was a beautiful moment and not lost even in the middle of a great show. I am happy to have a vid of it to keep.
Her video of TSMGO is the best I have seen so far for showing the audience response at the end of the song....the applause was insane and seemed to last for ages...I just got a lump in my throat watching it again and it still gives no true indication of how loud the cheering was

I totally get the need to conserve batteries but I feel a huge pinch when the applause is cut off and Adam's smile, interaction with Brian etc. are left off.
You do not have to shout but if you want to chat....
