They were ALL great but to me, the second one on the 12th was the best. I think the defining moment on the 12th was when Adam KILLED TSMGO. Brian sang it on the 11th and we were disappointed about that (not slighting Brian in the least - he has a great voice) and when Adam sang it on the 12th, HE BROUGHT THE HOUSE DOWN!!!! The energy of the whole concert seemed a little better on the 12th - maybe just my imagination, but it seemed different.
I agree, though some people might call me biased cause that's the only one I went to :-[ I can admit there were better performances of some of the songs, WWTLF and SSOR at London #3, Under Pressure at Kiev to name a few, but overall the energy on that night was just beyond and Adam cut it loose even more than he did on the 14th. You could just tell it was gonna end up like that from the ending of WWRY fast. "We will rock you... TONIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIGHT!" I'm actually putting together a greatest hits of all the concerts right now. Loads of fun! Finding the best audio sources for all six shows is gonna be less fun though
Would love to know what you decide are the greatest hits. Wanting a play list of the best version of each song.
I did Poland, London # 2 and 3 and in hindsight, if some mean goddess would take away the experience of 2 concert...I'd keep Poland. The atmosphere and Adam's vocals were beyond anything else.
I seem to remember comment from TALC girls that they would be uploading the rest of their vids from shows today... Probably worth keeping an eye open for them.
30 year old singer Adam Lambert from Indianapolis, a son of an interior designer and a program manager who was raised in a Jewish faith together with his brother released album #2 full of dynamic but also calm relaxed songs. Adam Lambert has been devoted to art since his childhood. At the age of 10 he began his theater performances and worked as a theater actor until 2009. Then he attented an audition to American Idol where he sang the songs Bohemian Rhapsody and Rock With You. Later in the competion he performed with MJ’s Black or White or a cover version of The Ring Of Fire. The singer made it into the final where he got to sing with legendary bands Kiss and Queen. His new album called Trespassing starts roughly, with an eponymous track. From the very beginning there can be heard a 'word machine gun' of Adam‘s voice. Omnipresent clapping is very enriching aspect because it makes the track more rhythmic. Without reading the name of another track from TP, the listener will be surprised by Adams 'cuckooing' in certain passages of the chorus. At the beginning it seems rather ridiculous but after listening the song more than once, you find out that 'cuckooing' is the essential tune of the track. Ant then we get to a track #3 called Shady which resulted from Adam's collaboration with Nile Rodgers and Sam Sparro but the following track called Kickin' In is definitely more remarkable. From the very first seconds that piece is completely different from the rest of the album. More dancy, more pop, more catchy is made for clubs. None of the other tracks will be so successful regarding dance scene. Naked Love is a typical radio hit. It makes you wanna dance. Actually its a very good song. As the name suggests, Pop That Lock is rather a pop hit, and it's obvious that Adam is made for singing pop rock. And then there is a title track Better Than I Know Myself. Not only is it the most well-known song from the album but it's also the best one. The music, the lyrics, the placing of the song on the tracklist and Lambert's voice makes the song unique. The track #9 Broken English begins in 'Backstreetboy-ish' style and it remains in the same mode for the rest of the song. I'd like to pick up the DJ who did a good job in some passages. Especially towards the end the song turns complicated to sing live. The first song on the album which calms you down is Underneath, the song #10 starts an avalanche of remaining easy-going tracks. Adam is playing around with his voice, from the deepest to the highest notes. And although everyone is entitled to his opinion Adam really can sing hovewer the beginning of the cd may seem a bit crazy. The last track from the standard edition is Outlaws of Love, the slowest one on the album. If you don't fall asleep and wait for #13, you won't regret! *Runnin' is dance, it can be said summer hit. And hopefully our radios will play us also a good music (except Mandrage, their hit Matice doesn't overcome Runnin' even if Adam and Mandrage met in face to face battle) Even if the band defeated Adam in the 'Matrix fight', there is another nice song Take Back. The last one on the tracklist is called Nirvana. Don't worry, this song is not another cover version of Curt Kobain's music, it's simply Adam's Nirvana. And replay it, you will feel the piece.
*Mandrage is a very successful Czech pop-rock boyband which rules airplay in Czech Republic and Slovakia. They have a hit called Srouby a Matice that would be translated as Screws and Matrixes :D The reviewer uses the metaphore to highlight Adam’s original musicin comparison with average piece of Mandrage.
ETA: I have two questions: 1. Why after I edit my post, all the smileys disappear and turn into this [/IMG]? 2. How do I insert just a part of article with picture with spoiler?

Ditto for me. I want a playlist of the best audio/video of each song, in order. I've been hooked on spindleshay's playlist for London 3.0, but I prefer the ripped pants "IWTBF" and the strut off the stage with Roger in Dragon Attack from London 2.0. If nationalglampoon is willing to assemble that and give us the link, I will be very grateful. Not quite as grateful as I was to Catz for the stream. I am not offering you one of my puppies, glampoon. But, I would loan one to you for a month.
A download list of the best mp3 audios would be great too. I'm sure you don't have anything else pressing at this time, right? (Actually, glampoon has an idea for the vocal masterclass thread that I think will be lots of fun as well as educational.)

For all you peeps who attended 2 or more QUEENBERT concerts.... Which one was your favorite??
A lot of peeps were raving about #2 concert in London... Was it the best??
I was lucky enough to get to attend all three concerts and I have to agree with meny people here saying that #2 was the best one, as a whole, even though #3 might have been the best vocally. Since I was an Adam virgin before these concerts, they all where just fabulous experiences to me. However, to me it seemed like #1 (even though it was already just amazing) was a warm-up for #2, which was absolutely fantastic. I was sitting in the circle, block 6 in all the concerts, and in #1, the crowd was maybe a bit apprehensive in the beginning, although they warmed up pretty quickly, though, and during the latter hafl I think everyone was on their feet (except block 6 which was standing almost the whole concert - a lot of atoppers and Adam fans there, I think ).
However, during #2 the crowd was on fire right from the beginning. When the first notes were played, everyone stood up and stayed on their feet until the last bow. It was just amazing! Everyone was singing, clapping, dancing (if they had space) and... just fantastic! And the music - sooooo great!
As with #1, also in #3 the crowd at the circle warmed up a bit slower - except for block 6, again! ;D I later heard that the staff was telling people to sit down, so that might explain it, but even though people were sitting during the first part, they were still clapping and singing along. I got the impression that the audience in #3 was more Queen fans than in the previous 2, so that might explain something, too. Vocally, though, #3 was the best, in my opinion. Adam's voice... there just aren't any words left for me to describe it, so I'll leave that to the musical experts.
And the interaction between Adam, Brian and Roger in all the shows... so heartwarming and lovely! All the kidding, joking... they had so much fun there! And the mutual respect they have for each other...
Now I'm back home and trying to recover for those amazing experiences - which is not easy. Luckily there are videos to watch - as I'm vertically challenged, I did not see the #2 show very well, because our seats were in the middle and there were taller people in front of us. In #1 and #1 we had seats right next to the aisle and they were really good.
I'd also like to say how wonderful it was to meet so many Atoppers on Tuesday night. I have a lousy memory with faces, so please don't hit me if we meet again and I don't remember you... Thanks for all the people who were involved in organizing it and I hope to meet you all again someday!
A fairytale that didn't last... That's how it usually goes.
I just did a little research on the TAKE 40 LIVE LOUNGE and I'm even more excited (if that's possible) about seeing Adam in Sydney ,,,,,, I had assumed this would be a promo/showcase like his previous promo visit but it looks like we're going to get professional recordings, as well as an intimate "studio" atmosphere _______________________________________________________________ www.mcmmedia.com.au/news/take-40-live-lounge-is-a-simple-plan-for-debit-mastercard-priceless-music
EXCERPT: Take 40 Live Lounge. Having outgrown the original studio format of previous years, 2012 sees the event move into a new performance space so more people can enjoy an unique experience with one of their favourite artists. The shows will then be filmed and packaged up for television, online, mobile, radio and social. more.. __________________________________________________________ You can see the VERY high quality recordings of previous artists at Take40.com -Channels
