Does anybody know what Adam will be doing or where he is appearing between July 28 and the middle of August? This period coincides with the first auditions of Idol (I believe) and the closing ceremony of the Olympics.

Okay...gotta pop in and say I ADORE Brian London and enjoy his banter. It adds a nice urban feel to the performance - all the "yeah"s and "uh huh"s and whatever he says.....plus he's got a nice voice.
Apparently Ryan (in London for the Olympics) was asked on the Today Show about possible Idol judges. From twitter:
Ryan says Pink and Brad (Paisley) are on the short list. No Adam mention
I have no idea if this means something or nothing.
Oh Ryan! We all know Mariah would never in a million years allow P!NK to be on that panel with her. Or any other woman! Ryan is BSing so now we know that Brad is a definite "no." And IMO, Randy will be out too.

This may sound silly, but I think the fact that Ryan didn't mention Adam means that it is likely Adam is one of the choices. American Idol enjoys screwing with people. Not mentioning Adam is the equivalent of "And the contestant who goes home tonight is............going to be revealed after the break."
I'm already having anxiety. Going to my family's beach house for a few days. In laws don't approve of my stanning. They just don't get it. Gonna be hiding in the bathroom a lot. Thank goodness for my new iPhone !!!! I love this thing. Best purchase EVER!!

Exactly!! Ryan is not going to reveal anyone that may be in serious running! And like I said, Mariah allowing another diva on there with her is laughable!!
