A comment following this article--don't know if it is referring to Adam: "Totally agreed, Eric. The biggest reason I go to Pride festivals is to see indie LGBT bands take the stage. I'd much rather see them than some 90's pop diva I didn't care for *in* the 90's or some American Idol reject." |

He made American Idol. IMHO,he's the best thing that has happened for gay artists.. world recognition. Adam has made being gay sexy and acceptable.But of course again preaching to the choir.
