So no guesses about what Adam and Angie will perform on Idol? I already guessed that they would sing Angie's song, "You Set Me Free," but now it looks as if Angie's going to be allowed to sing that solo, so I have no idea. I still think it's likely to be a cover, but if it's not, my guess would be BTIKM. If it is a cover, maybe "Stay," since Adam did that on the WAG tour and Angie sang it with Candice earlier this season on Idol. I wouldn't mind if it's a Queen song as long as Idol uses the opportunity to point out that Adam sang with Queen! I think "Who Wants to Live Forever" would be an effective duet. No, just NO to WWTLF! That's my favorite song of his with Queen, don't want to hear Angie touch that, sorry! |

This is going to be tough, but I think it's smart. The winner needs to get that album out while the audience still remembers or cares about them.

Fans of the new American Idol champion won't have to wait as long as usual to get her album.
In fact, they'll be able to pre-order it immediately after Thursday's finale, exclusively through iTunes -- a first for the show.
Candice Glover and Kree Harrison already have recorded their singles, which they'll perform on tonight's episode (8 p.m. ET/PT, FOX). The winner's album will follow this summer, during the 40-show American Idols Live tour.
So once tomorrow's winner finishes her whirlwind promotional tour, you can bet she'll be in the studio until just before the tour kicks off June 29.
Typically, the Idol winner has had to wait about five months to release his or her album. Phillip Phillips' The World From the Side of the Moon, for instance, came out November 19 of last year, after he won Season 11 in May 2012.

people! u r seriously killing me with all the cover talk....i mean it will be a totally lost opportunity to show the work he did for the last two years...just feels like a horrible business move...I understand him doing MW for chinese idol, but to do ANY cover, old or new, would be just projecting a completely wrong image... Almost the same for any song from FYE... People need to here his own brilliant work! WHY not to duet Trespassing? or Cuckoo? or NL?
sorry for my phone-typed rant, i seriously need a life....
