My Google Alert also shows that Adam is getting a lot of coverage for Brian's comment about Queen and Adam working together again. The articles paint it in a positive light and write about how great their previous collaboration was.  |

I want to thank all who have posted the wonderful photos, videos and recaps from the fantastic PP concert. I bet he did make a lot of new fans. Loved what a sweetheart he was with his fans as always.
I have been pondering what kind of TV "event" Dr. May had in mind. Could it be a concert documentary on a premium channel? Any thoughts on this from our many savvy posters.
Love to see Adam having fun with an old friend. I wonder if Jennifer Rias was one of the participants in the post prom drinking party in the Lambert's pool per Eber's Joan Rivers' date tweet?

He was supposed to start at 9:30 so there would have been time for the longer set. Perhaps the complaints are from those that did not know there was a curfew. However, I am confused about the curfew since the street party went to 1:30 AM so there were obviously permits to continue that volume of sound. So in that case, why could the set not be its full length if indeed the communication about that length between PP and Adam was clear to begin with. I only read a couple of complaints and they came from folks who were't even at the show, they watched the stream..LOL I was there, I can't imagine there were a lot of complaints but many in the audience were confused because it was confusing how it ended. Yes, there was a long -- about 50 minute break while it rained a bit and they covered the sound equipment and then did the silliness with moving the "backstage tents" to cover the sound equipment -- with no real plan. (They could have done it in 5 minutes if they just removed the bottom legs of the tentpoles. People in the audience finally told them.) The whole concert was fun -- but very loose -- all the acts, not just Adam. And it was clearly a volunteer run event. Regarding the concert length -- I have no idea what the disconnect was but it was within the Delta Foundation not between the Delta Foundation and Adam. Adam performed all the songs on the set list, and I was told just Adam and the band last Thursday. So why they had 90 minutes and dancers listed on the site and in the DF Press release is beyond me. There was definitely confusion about the end of the concert. After Shady, Adam did a really fast "Thank you" and just left and the stage went dark -- then returned to do WWFM and left again. He returned and did the two song encore. Then Adam left the stage, the band play a bit without him and left. It really did not feel like it was over. Just speaking for myself, I was confused. The people who we met after the concert and the next day were also confused -- but not upset. ** I will write a recap and post it in the morning. I just wanted to post that there was not a lot of disappointed people after Adam performed. Also, many people were there for Adam but many people were there for Sharon Needles. So this was not just an Adam crowd or an Adam event. |

The thing is Pandora doesn't only play Adam,they also play other singers who they think have similar POP styles.. I just give the others thumbs down for the most part and Adam my thumbs up.
