I give Gaga huge props for walking onto a stage and singing along with a very well-practiced touring band. If she didn't know much about Adam before she knows now that he is a very generous performer. I'm thrilled that Adam and Gaga got to share an arena stage. I agree. Cynically, one can look at this as self-promotion; or, from gracious, generous Adam-Brian point of view-- fun to add something new to the mix. I loved her HBO special, but it is obvious that she's not as comfortable working the stage or doing impromptu dance moves like Adam is. Everyone requires rehearsal to make it look easy. Adam helped all he could. She knows how to market. The critics have been brutal this time, and there is nothing like the media to kick you off a pedestal. They ride the bandwagon on the way up and then jump on again joining the scrum of a chance to take someone down. She has worked hard, but did not know how to handle her fame--she came off as more "revenge" fame, "I told you guys I was good but you didn't believe me." Which is why Adam is so much fun to stan; his natural charm and delight in other performers makes him a great collaborator. It's difficult not to like gracious, respectful, and humble. eta: it helps when you are drop-dead gorgeous and uber-talented. Eta2: maybe she'll co-write a song with him???

I'm honestly surprised the man can still hear after 750+ concerts, given his reputation for keeping all his monitors turned up to 11. I said something similar to the sound check guy. He laughed and said Brian has better hearing than Roger. Go figure.

I imagine all kinds of edits are possible. I'm not worried about that. I just want a DVD sooner rather than later....and I'm afraid it's gonna be laaaater. Just be aware that Brian has a bit of a reputation for being quite nit pickingly fussy about what is released and he does not generally delegate such things- he likes to be there when the sound is mixed. I'm sure he also understands the concept of striking while the iron is hot, but as with all things Queen it will be here when it gets here. I wouldn't want anyone setting themselves up for disappointment if there isn't a 2014 release.

It seems both nights were filmed so maybe they can cut in better audience shots I imagine all kinds of edits are possible. I'm not worried about that. I just want a DVD sooner rather than later....and I'm afraid it's gonna be laaaater. They will not include the Gaga performance unless they have super-skills in editing and autotune. Whew, that lady was waaaay off on pitch at times. They won't have to just tweak it. They will have to totally recreate pitches. I won't say it is Gaga's fault. She may not have had ear monitors or they might not have been set right, and she may not have been able to hear. Yeah, I will be gracious and say that was the problem. It is easy to be gracious when our boy out shone her vocally and movement wise, and from a drop dead sexy point of view.

Adam was really focussed on making it a fun performance and supporting Stefanie. Adam is really comfortable singing that song and Gaga was doing it as a duet for the first time. It really showed how well Adam improvises and is comfortable with spontaneity. In the arena, the performance worked. I should mention that she blew a kiss back to Adam, but he didn't see it because he was walking back upstage. She was gracious towards him.

Between the two of them, who knows. Yes, bamafan, between the two shows they would have some great footage and a treasure trove to choose from.

And last night, the “Born This Way” singer-songstress delighted an unsuspecting audience with yet another musical switch-up: Glam-rock goddess! Yesterday, while down under for the Australian leg of her ArtRave, Gaga popped out on stage during the acclaimed Adam Lambert and Queen Tour in Sydney, which has electrifying audiences all over the world this summer. (It makes sense, too — Gaga is named after Queen’s “Radio Ga Ga,” after all!) Together, the two friends gleefully tore into Queen classic “Another One Bites The Dust” together to the roaring delight of the crowd. “Tonight I felt alive in a way I have not before. I returned to the Radio GaGa mothership to pay homage to my leaders. It was emotional and wild,” Gaga wrote on Instagram. “So much fun tonight! @ladygaga” Lambert wrote on his page. Check out photos and videos of the surprise duet after the jump, and listen to full audio from the concert right here. More photos and videos.

I selfishly want my summer of 2015 to be endless concert roadtrips. ETA: I guess it's the devil in me, but I love the fact that Gaga watched the whole show at least from AOBTD until the end. I know she knows Adam's singing abilities, but she got to witness him performing, in addition to the glorious vocals..... I like that.

You have stamina, girl.
