He will be fine. ETA: Here is his SSB from the 2012 World Series...not my favorite performance of it, but respectful and heartfelt. youtu.be/5IYbH21V4MMSorry, if that is fine for you, you are a better person than I am. Yes, it started out ok, but I made it as far as "ramparts" and had to hit the stop button. Too many bum notes for my ears to deal with. Well I did not say he was in Adam's league but it was a nice, respectful performance. Maybe someday a San Diego team will make the World Series or some other high-profile championship and have Adam sing the SSB. ETA: Here is another reality TV show winner singing the National Anthem tonight -- Danielle Bradbery, Season 4 The Voice winner. Much better than P2.

Ya, but I saw iheart Showcase and was just a few feet away from Adam & Brian. Which is why I have been so Zen about this Rock Honour Show! But, damn, that video is so enticing!! How would someone go about getting tickets to this event? I know they are going to have promotions through some radio stations but with my luck, no chance for a ticket that way. You can purchase tickets through Citibank -- info is here: www.citiprivatepass.com/landing/classic_rock_awards.htmlETA: There is also a separate show/presentation at the Viper Room -- this is NOT were Adam and Brian will be: Classic Rock Awards Pres: PURSON (First U.S. Show) w/ Ian Camfied & Kylie Olsson Wednesday, Nov 05, 2014 8:00 PM PST Doors The Viper Room, West Hollywood, CA 21 years and over

Not crazy at all! I think the song was written for that! See how much I paid attention to all the Queen music well there was just another orchestral play of WWTLF really beautiful and here I thought Brian wrote it thinking of a life experience and letting go and now I see it was for a movie…bummer I am not sure why the fact that this song was written for a film changes it, but I was always intrigued by what Brian said about being inspired and creating that song. Brian wrote the song after watching the first cut of the film. He wrote the line "Who wants to live forever" in a cab on his way home from the viewing of the film. Inspiration came from the scene where Connor Macleod (Christopher Lambert) takes his dying wife Heather (Biettie Edney) in his arms at the time of her death. This is also the scene where the song is played. There are two version of WWTLF -- 1. There is the version with lyrics -- the film version Freddie Mercury sings the first verse, but on the album version Brian May sings the first verse and Freddie sings the rest. Same song. Queen was backed up by an orchestra, with orchestrations by the co-composer of the film's score, Michael Kamen. 2. An instrumental piano version - "Forever" (Piano version of "Who Wants to Live Forever?") which was a bonus track on A Kind of Magic 1986 EMI release. Queen - Forever (piano version) I would love to hear Adam sing a vocal for this version. Brian played the piano and keyboards on this recording. youtu.be/2jQWYwkpmRAIt is clear that this song is very important to Brian --- and I imagine he is very pleased to hear what Adam has done with it.

Aww. OT but thought I'd share--he made my wedding dress. Not a real wedding dress at all but more my speed. I was so excited when I found it on super-discount at an outlet store. Wish I had occasion to wear it more often: (Needless to say--not me in the dress 8-)). RIP Mr. de la Renta. I'm sure mine's not the only lovely memory you dressed.
