Just want to shout out to our members from Ottawa area...Avari for one but unsure who else. My eldest daughter is there...and lives very close to the action. We have had a major shooting incident and the tv and radio is full on with non stop updates. The Parliament has been on security lockdown since 10am set....very tragic. It does look like a homegrown terrorist attack, but probably not international in scope, much as ISIS would like to take credit. Very scary stuff.... www.theglobeandmail.com/news/politics/parliament-shooting/article21217602/I've been following on twitter ever since fox called the Monties the Royal Canadian Mountain Police ( Hey I don't watch fox blame dh) Looks like they caught everyone? No...not likely. Lockdown reinstated this last hour. One shooter killed but unsure how many others... The PM to speak any moment. It is not at all over...

OT but I need to get this off my chest. It's 90 degrees today in LA, it's only October 22nd, and I was at the store earlier and they were playing Christmas music! ALREADY! When I heard Rudolph I was like, what the hell? We have two more holidays to go before then. Kohl's had their decorations out already too. I'm over it and the season hasn't even started yet. I just can't believe it's getting earlier and earlier every year. I fully admit that I will be watching the Hallmark Christmas movies for 2 months since they start on Halloween, but let that holiday happen at least before the music starts in the stores. Haha yes!

Just about my favorite concert ever. I' was an Adam neophyte then and was so wound up after the show, I couldn't even talk to anyone! Wasn't much better at the Music Box. ( and when did they rename that?) Do remember meeting so many Adamtopians after the show and driving a bunch around LA in the Mustang I had rented. Reverted to 16 and hey that is a long journey for me! You mys*&@^#r were my mentor those two nights! Thank you!

A hella lot of us! And Yardhouse was so accomodating! They just kept extending our table and adding seats for us! As AToppers walked by the patio, we grabbed them! I think we started with a table for 12 and ended up with about 20! Great 2 nights of Adam & friends. I must admit though, as I watch that video, I say to myself "Who is that guy?!?!"

Queen’s Roger Taylor Talks Recording New Music With Adam LambertPosted on 10/22/2014 9:33:00 AM by Gary Graffwww.wror.com/gmi/classicrocknews/2014/10/22/queens-roger-taylor-talks-recording-new-music-with-adam-lambert#sthash.p5SUwqy1.7nQPKVrB.dpufIs Queen + Adam Lambert headed towards new music? Drummer Roger Taylor thinks so -- or at least hopes so. Taylor tells us that the group's next move is a European tour in early 2015, but he and guitarist Brian May would also like to hit the studio with singer Lambert to see what could happen there: "I would hope so. I would hope it would, actually. I think it would be a very interesting experiment. It would be nice to just go in and see what came out. I don't know if it would be an album or anything, but I think it's too good a marriage to just let it go at touring. I'm sure we'll do something. His voice is so extraordinary, and it's a beautiful instrument. I think it would be nice. We better come up with some material..." Taylor added that Lambert is also busy working on a solo album, while the drummer is preparing to release a pair of solo compilations -- the single-disc "Best" on October 27 and the box set "The Lot" on November 11 -- and the "Queen Forever" compilation, featuring three previously unreleased tracks, is due out November 11. Go to the link to hear the Soundcloud. I tried to embed it here, but no luck.
