This tour has to mean more than we can ever imagine to Briand and Roger! It definitely does! I think about this a lot..... How much this means to Brian, Roger and Adam. I'ts a total win/win. Good things do happen to good people. We all here know that Adam is one of the good guys, but I've truly enjoyed getting to know Brian and Roger better. They are precious! The prospects for future QAL endeavors and projects is exciting. We'll have Adam's own stuff and QAL stuff to enjoy for years to come. It makes my head spin! lelemaple.......I'm so happy that being a Queen fan brought you into the Adam community. It's a beautiful thing!!!

Who killed reality TV? It ain't what it used to be Adam part: American Idol continues to shuffle its judges around in order to generate interest, even generating an attention-grabbing Nicki Minaj-Mariah Carey feud to get anyone to watch, but that show hasn't produced a star since Adam Lambert claimed the runner-up slot five years ago. Off the top of your head, can you name who he beat? (If you said Kris Allen, you get a prize.) And can you name any of the Idol winners since? This tour has to mean more than we can ever imagine to Briand and Roger! Yes, this really is something. And the fact that they are having fun shows up on the stage! And in every interview. Makes me smile every time. And I think winning the "fan and listener" poll for Band of the Year was far more important than winning any other kind of award. They took a big risk after the mixed reception they got to the Q+PR effort. So many Queen fans really believe that Queen ended with Freddie and those tours and albums just confirmed it. Now they are getting some of the best (maybe the best) reviews of Queen's tour life with an American, reality TV show runner up, dance-pop/pop-rock singer as frontman. And Queen fans like it and voted for them to be the band of the year in 2014 -- not for being a great band in 1986 -- but for being a great band NOW.

I always get a little nervous now when Adam makes predictions about when his album is going to drop, BUT in this case I will remain hopeful as he has been super tight lipped till now.
Early next year could be anywhere between Jan-Mar, or in Adam time, May, right? Cultivating my garden of patience...
ETA: And still SO EXCITED about the possibilities with Queen! The Classic Rock award is just huge!

I always get a little nervous now when Adam makes predictions about when his album is going to drop, BUT in this case I will remain hopeful as he has been super tight lipped till now. Early next year could be anywhere between Jan-Mar, or in Adam time, May, right? Cultivating my garden of patience... I am optimistic that Adam has a label who supports him, and that he has learned that "almost done" does not mean when he thinks he is done recording, it is when the label thinks it is almost done and ready to be released. So I take this at face value -- he is done recording, the album in the the final stages of production. The only open question is what does "early" mean to Adam. I would say that I hope for March but am braced for May. And I will now sow a few more seeds in my garden of patience. Since Queen is touring until Feb 19th -- and ends in a sensible spot, Switzerland. I think that is the end of this Q+AL adventure. So that seems to point to A3 being released in March - May 2015. If this is a "typical" release schedule....maybe it could look like this: Late Novemeber-early December - one track released and/or performed. Not promoted to radio. January 2015 - lead single released hopefully with a music video. >>If single gets acceptance by radio, lots of streaming airplay and digital sales... Album released March 2015 >>If single #1 does not get acceptance, single #2 released... Album released May 2015 It would be very surprising to me if 1. They already have a release date, OR 2. They release this album while Q+AL is on tour.
