Take part in the largest sing-along ever in support of children's rights
Katy Perry, Idris Elba & Adam Lambert among others cover Lennon classic Imagine...
Dozens of singers, actors, entertainers and activists have come together to cover the John Lennon classic, Imagine. The aim is to create the world's largest sing-along and raise awareness and funds for children's rights globally.
The idea is the result of a collaboration between Yoko Ono, David Guetta and UNICEF. Download the free TouchCast app, record your own version and you will be a part of a new 'world version' of Imagine by David Guetta that will be released by the New Year.
Peep the clip and sing along here.

I still can't bring myself to rewatch....the vocals were godawful but I believe that brilliant ninja roll will become the stuff of legends. I mean who in the hell could have pulled that off - except the one and only Adam Effin' Lambert!?

Yahoo Music @yahoomusic · 8m8 minutes ago UNICEF Launches John Lennon–Inspired #IMAGINE Campaign yhoo.it/1yAzAEA
UNICEF has launched a new campaign, #IMAGINE, to draw attention to the challenges children face around the world and help raise money for the organization. Yoko Ono, Hugh Jackman and ABBA member Björn Ulvaeus presented it to the UN General Assembly at the 25th anniversary of the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child on November 20th.
Will.i.am, Will Ferrell Offer Drawings for Charity
The campaign launch included a video of John Lennon's "Imagine" that featured cameos by more than 100 people, including musicians, actors, celebrities, sports figures, dignitaries and children's choirs. Among them were Katy Perry, Adam Lambert, Courteney Cox and Lance Bass singing the song alongside clips of Lennon performing it.
Part of the project is a digital app, made by TouchCast, that enables users to record their own versions of the song. Some of these performances will be combined with versions from other artists and UNICEF ambassadors into a multi-lingual "world" mix produced by David Guetta. TouchCast for iOS is available for download at the #IMAGINE website or via the Apple App Store.
In addition to singing, participants are encouraged to record personal messages describing their vision of a better world for children. All submitted vocals and videos will also have a chance to make the cut for an accompanying interactive music video, which will come out – with the song – in the weeks leading up to New Year's. Users can share their recordings on social media using the hashtags #EVERYVOICECOUNTS and #IMAGINE.
Participants can also donate to UNICEF, with all funds benefitting the organization's programs that provide education, nutrition, healthcare and immunizations, clean water and sanitation, protection and emergency relief for children in more than 150 countries and territories.
"I'm really excited to be working with UNICEF on this incredible new project," Guetta said in a statement. "Our 'world' version of 'Imagine' will be like no other – I am proud to be a part of this collaboration. We have to get the word out that every voice counts and every child counts, too."
"A dream you dream alone may be a dream, but a dream two people dream together is a reality," Ono said in a statement.

I guess I was always somewhat out on the fringe of people who fucking loved the AMA performance. Ok vocal could have been better - especially what we now know of his live prowess but damn that thing was pure rock and roll and put him on the map internationally in way that simply a stellar vocal would never have done.directmanagement.com/adam-lambert/ (ok dead horse has arisen letting him lay down again)... UNICEF is all kinds of wonderful and Terra's version is fab - 2x the Adam is always better than 1. I rarely hear a song I like without thinking #HWAST (how would Adam sing this) so anytime I get even a snippet colour me happy. Yeah but did you see the obstacle he had to run through. Not even the top Army Recruiters would of ran that, let alone sing simultaneously. I am surprised he had time to breathe let alone sing, their was a reason he was out of breath by the time his feet hit the ground. IMHO I thought the performance especially in that time, was ballsy to say the least. It showed alot of bravery, that and the ninja roll. I also think it exposed alot of double standards in the industry, and end of day gave Adam international attention. Other wise I don't think he would be where he is today. Compared to Gaga smashing whisky bottles, if he just sat their with some ballad. He would of got lost in the headlines with Gaga smashing whisky bottles, as just that nice gay kid from idol who happens to have a nice voice. What he did gave him the freedom to step out of the idol bubble, and become Adam Lambert. So to me it is a career defining performance, and I woulden't change it for the world.
THAT PERFORMANCE WAS THE BEST THING THAT COULD"VE HAPPENED TO HIS CAREER, no doubt in my mind what so ever!
