Most of the response to that Ama performane, was not the kiss. More the crutch grabbing e.t.c. Was percevied to be to obscene for tv. Yet female artists are doing it today, and its all good haha. Defiantely a double standard. But I guess Women are sexy, especially if it is a male audience, which I am. As a straight guy Adams performance at the Ama's is what made me follow him, up to that point I was a big fan of his idol performances, but that Ama performance grabbed me. And showed me this kid had something special, no Idol Contestent ever had. He was going to go way beyond idol. I remember a women interviewed him after, and said I Think you are going to go on to become the Male Madonna. I think that is quite possible. I remember that article a few years ago now. That argued if Adam Lambert is the next Michael Jackson. For the record I thought comparisons were riduclous, when he came out of the idol gate. Next Elvis, Male Lady Gaga, biggest since Kelly, new MJ e.t.c. He was never going to live up to that in 2 weeks lol, let alone 5 or so years. Adam is a big picture artist. A few years ago if I saw Sam Smith winning, it would get to me, why can't they embrace Adam like that. I now know why. I read a comment on another site, that kinda sums up things nicely. Adam is like a hurricane, some people can only take him in a drizzle. Sam is more safer. This is a very image concious society. Adam is polarizing. But I am also very confident, the timing of A3 is perfectly placed. If he blows up as a soloist next year. Theirs no reason he won't be accepting Best Male Artist at the Ama's next year, then maybe Grammys. Why not. Reminds me of one of my favorite movie scenes. youtu.be/w1h_hmdVJAc

If Adam doesn't release a single in the next 2-3 weeks, it won't be until next year. Wonder what they are waiting for???

3ku1 good post! I would rather see Adam win at the Grammys than the AMA's. Well yes clearly. I can see Qal releasing a dvd next year. And winning a Grammy for best long form video. Adam might be nominated for a Grammy next year for his own album.

Hard to figure out the timing because we have almost no info -- but hard to imagine a radio single released in 2014 at this point. Seems more likely to do it in 2015. **** New thread is up.

Looks like Adam was an equal opportunist when it came to blow-up dolls..ROLF!! Once after a visit from my sis, I went to get the sheets to wash from her bed. Imagine to my surprise, she left me a male blow-up doll nicely tucked in and sleeping soundly. I named him Ralph! Broke my heart to have to deflate Ralph..not as easy a task as one would think.. ETA: In case I have offended anyone's sensibilities with this post, sorry. This story, tho, is true. My sister is the Prankster Extraordinaire in our family. And those dolls ARE hard to deflate. OMG, Viv, hahaha, my DH's name is Ralf (which is the German version of Ralph!)!

bamafan you are getting really good at bringing the instagrams over Well, thank you kindly csimms4 ! LOL. One little step at a time. Wal taught me the basics and I've been trying to teach Stampsgal....but she's still working on it. LOL. My mind just can't think in tech talk. I didn't even own a computer prior to Adam...that's how in the dark I was. As soon as Idol was over.....I got one in a hurry.
Speaking of Wal, she's sweetheart . I am grateful to her for her help too.
