Oh, I am hoping that German Glambert will sing Happy Birthday for Adam on his birthday that night.
I am not German, but I will be there, and I will sing for Adam. He'd better keep his ears closed . And it sure looks like Cologne will sell out. Yay! The venues that are selling the slowest seem to be Berlin and Hamburg. And from these I guess that Berlin will be the most difficult to sell out, because I think the upper tier is not even for sale yet. But we'll see. Plenty of time to go. And I guess that the NYE show could make a difference too, even in Germany. Not worried! Even in Brussels, which seemed to be selling very slow at first, I can only get two tickets together high up on the balcony now. All other are down to single seats. So I think that one will be a sellout too.
Yay!! . That's what I meant, any Glamberts in audience surprising him by singing Happy Birthday for him.

I would be awesome! Beyond awesome. Since there is a 5 hour time difference between NY and London this seems unlikely to me unless it is recorded earlier or very early in the NY evening. Are there any other reports of this? I think it is a bit of confusion. The "regular people" version of Imagine new remix of "Imagine" by David Guetta will be released on iTunes on New Year’s Eve 2014. They could easily play this in Times Square. And they MIGHT play the multi-artist "Imagine" video which has Adam in it although I do not see that in any of the reports. My first thought was that this is about the multi-artist recording of "Imagine" and that a Glambert has simply singled out Adam. "Imagine" will be performed by Melissa Etheridge this year. (It is a tradition to perform "Imagine" at the Times Square NYE Celebration.) "Melissa Etheridge will perform her new song, Uprising of Love, and a rendition of John Lennon’s Imagine during the 2014 Times Square New Year’s Eve celebration." "11:52 p.m. to 11:59 p.m. Special Performance by Melissa Etheridge Melissa Etheridge performs her new song Uprising of Love and John Lennon’s Imagine at the Nivea Kiss Stage. www.timessquarenyc.org/events/new-years-eve/nye-schedule/index.aspx#.VH3nZcknnFkThis is the official schedule from the organizers. So unless this is some special secret duet, Adam will not be performing "Imagine" for NYE.

Yes, it's pretty sure that we will sing "Happy Birthday" for him, I think there are some more Glamberts in the arena! Besides someone on twitter also already asked all of us who attend the Cologne concert to bring blue glow-sticks with us, so that we can all hold them up together, while we sing for him!
yes we can show the Queen fans how much he's loved by his fans.

I'll make sure of that, no worries^^ That "Happy Birthday" will be one of my highlights if everyone participates. These increased sales are probably due to an advertisment by a very prominent radio station here in Germany ( more precisely in NRW) for the cologne concert. My Mom even texted me on thursday during an exam ( wooden chair+phone on vibrate= ) and from what she told me that ad was extremly positive, e.g sentences full of hyperbole and praise. Add that they specifically said it was the only concert in NRW and how this was the event to catch.... And there go the seats And it appears that something similar is planned for Hamburg, so I'm hoping for the same effect.

I hope this is true and not a rumor ..... "@inglamwetrust: Adam Lambert will b singing John Lennon's Imagine on Times Square big screen New Year's Eve while simultaneously singing w Queen in London!" Saw this on QOL...........????????????? My guess would be the whole, multi-artist UNICEF video, which would have Adam technically singing in both London and NYC. If anyone can sing in two places at once, it would be Adam. Hours apart though! But, yes, Imagine for UNICEF is premiering in Times Square ETA: it is not a secret. The day we got the first PR for Imagine it was publicized. Maybe at the UNICEF site? But definitely remember this!

Did Brian wear this cloak at any other performances. I feel like it went the way of the white pants. Yes, Brian wore it almost every show for a short time during BoRap. There were a few shows that he did not wear it, but not many.

And I will happily join you at that tea party, cassie!
Someone mentioned (can't remember who) the devotion Adam has for the audience, the giving his all for every performance. SOOO respectful of both his art and of the audience, IMO. There is an old saying for performers, "Remember, for one member of the audience this will be the first performance they see, for another it will be the last." Such a succinct way to to emphasize the importance of recognizing that the audience is worthy of your best, each and every time, regardless of what circumstances there are. Tired? Power through. Want to be somewhere else? Concentrate on that one person who is seeing a live performance for the first time. It matters. Each and every time.
And Adam is so true to that. Love him for that. He gets it. He honors it. He FEELS it, IMO, with every fiber of his being. He IS the song, he IS the music. For us.
Granted, his voice is out of this world. And he is so easy on the eyes. And he can move.
But what always comes across to me is his love of the art, his joy in performing, his training, background and devotion to the craft, his true humbleness.
And part of that is his absolute joy on stage. His sharing with everyone on the stage. His unselfishness on stage. He wants it to be a party for everyone up there with him. I LOVE that about him also. Because it makes me happy just to watch it. I know that it is part of what revitalizes Brian and Roger, and all the others in the band. When someone is so estatic just to be there, just to be performing with you, just to be sharing the awesome response from the audience, who wouldn't love it? Adam is truly one of the most gracious performers I have ever experienced, and it adds exponentially to my pleasure in watching him. It is a shared experience, or at least that is the way it feels to me. That infinite loop he has described, it feels like I am part of that.
I just think he is magic with a huge underpinning of love for what he is doing, and the talent, training and devotion to buoy it up. And that voice, that glorious, glorious voice.
Plus, doesn't hurt one little bit that the boy is hotter than a million blazing suns.
