I feel bad for fans that are disappointed in Adam's career - it's as if there was one path to success and he somehow blew it by wondering off with Queen and not paying proper attention to their idea of what he should be doing. I think he loves his role with Queen and probably enjoyed proving all those naysayers who were adamant they would NEVER sell out arenas in the US (and especially never MSG! ) to be so embarrassingly wrong! I doubt he really cares though - he pursues his life with complete disregard to others opinions of how he should live it - and I love him for it! And brw, I think A3 is going to be huge. I think for a lot of fans who are current pop music fans they got on board for solo Adam. Queen in the beginning with the one offs was a nice distraction in his career but it is now going on for 3yrs. A lot of them have moved on but I'm sure he gained a few so it should balance out. There are many path to success and Adam will decide his own career but I think what some are saying is don't expect things like Grammys, AMAs and etc... It's not fair to put down other artists because Adam is left out.

Adam reading adamtopia this evening and his expression says it all LOL Melliemom. I'm one of those who is happy as long as Adam is doing something/anything and keeping me entertained. I've said before that I don't even know if I want him to be a mega-star with all that horrible over-the-top media intrusion and no privacy. When people talk about MJ or Elvis status, I cringe a bit because of the sad ending to their lives. Fame can be cruel mistress. I think Adam is at the point that he will always have new opportunities and a nice career. And the money he has made from QAL allows him to be choosy if he wants. I am looking forward to all that Adam will share with us. And yes, the first thing I thought when I saw the group photo at the Shard was what a beautiful coat! -- nice that he can afford it!!!

Not sure why Led Zeppelin is on that list but add Katy Perry and Justin Bieber (so being a big seller is not enough), quite a number of important hiphop artists (Public Enemy, The Notorious B.I.G.), Guns 'n Roses, Journey, The Kinks, TALKING HEADS!!!! Led Zeppelin finally won!! 2014 "Celebration Day" Best Rock Album Won The Doors received a Grammy lifetime achievement award in 2007. Jimi Hendrix received a Grammy lifetime achievement award in 1993. Q3 I should have prefaced by saying that, IMHO, none of these people got a Grammy at the height of their career when they really deserved to be recognized by their peers. The 'lifetime achievement' award is great and well deserved but a Grammy should have come many years sooner. I didn't know Led Zeppelin finally received a Grammy. Good for them! Still, to me, it should have come many years ago. I still don't understand the Grammy criteria (philosphy) for voting. Looks like, to me, in many instances it's all about the commercial viability of a song (ie. the Taylor Swifts of the world) and, unfortunately, artistic integrity seems unappreicated. All my opinion of course. I don't mean to disrespect anyone's opinion or appreciation of an artist but this is just how I feel. Oh, I edited my comment because it was the timing of the lists online -- Led Zeppelin finally won a Grammy but not until 2014. I also am dismayed by some of the Grammy nominations, winners and overlooked.

cassie wrote: And with Max Martin producing a lot or all of A3 it is so not happening. No jazz, no best of Broadway, no intimate acoustic songs, and no tracks from the American Song Book. But I hope we get all of this someday. A3 will almost certainly be a contemporary pop album with a focus on Adam's vocals. And based on the collaborators we have heard of also almost certainly to incorporate electronic accompaniment and percussion. But there is one certainty, I know I will love A3.

I took one person's opinion of the Grammys and brought it over from the link. I have to agree with a lot of what he says. There are a couple of comments about the X Factor UK there also. www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=10152569895319091Cecy @cecycat1 8m8 minutes ago Whatcha Say: Madonna, Adam Lambert And The Grammys Got Our Readers Talking ~ Idolator Well, we made it: It’s... fb.me/4mFMZ9G8t
:: Brandon H. broke down the reality of The Grammys in today’s world on 2015 Grammy Nominations: Beyonce, Sam Smith, Sia, Miley Cyrus & More Are On The List:
“The Grammys have become the Billboard Music Awards in all but name. Billboard clearly rewards successful and mainstream efforts, and has nothing to do with quality or acclaim. Grammys ditched the prestige many years ago to grab in viewers, and to be more hip. Its sad, there were so many good records that should have been nominated (and perhaps would have 10 years ago) but got overlooked for the popular acts. There was a time when you’d see a nominated artist you never even heard of, and this only went to show that the Grammys had a respect for music even if it wasn’t sitting at the top of the charts. Grammys were the Oscars of music, but now its just like every other award show for music now.”
