Hmmm this is Helene from 2 months ago. It is a highlights from one show. It looks very Pop to me. Sure there are covers of other songs, one Rock and the Titanic theme, but overall, does not look either Country or folksy to me. Maybe she is a victim of being over analyzed by music snobs, the same people that over analyze reality show winners or Queen's new vocalist? (Not referring to you, clematis. I know you are trying to explain her.) www.youtube.com/watch?v=f38YUxOH13MWell if we talk about Schlager music, she isn´t your typical Schlager singer. But that´s where she started of and that kinda sticks to her like glue and I think she doesn´t really mind being associated with Schlager music. And her production still has an Schlager edge to it, if you ask me (the way she sings, the pronunciation, some lyrics). But you may be right and I just hear Schlager and it tilts the perception just slightly.

I don't know John but throwing up his name as the 'honourable' one when he is still cashing in on the cow is not that cool, again, imho. And I am not blaming him here, albeit if he is collecting at all on this iteration then I do believe he could put out one definitive and supporting statement...if he isn't then he owes nobody anything. [/strong] [/quote] I missed this part when I first read this. This is always hardest to figure out in some ways and not so much in others. Fact - He is a recluse. He retired in 1997 and has been seen in public about 5-6 times since. As a huge Queen fan who scours for info, I've seen maybe 3 or 4 pictures. Fact - He has not renounced his stake in QPL. Brian states he is still involved financially. Brian stated that they send him everything project wise, etc. and if they don't hear back they assume it's okay to go ahead. Does that mean that? Well it means that John didn't care enough to get back to them, not that he necesarily approves. Conjecture: I think he has given B&R a blanket do what you want for most part that B&R see as his blessing when really it's more of he just simply doesn't care anymore. I think he wants nothing to do with the music business anymore. He was also hit hardest by Freddie's death according to some. Simply put his accepting finances is not seen as necessarily supporting any venture, more he just doesn't really care anymore, and he sure as heck ain't going to release any statement either way. Again this is a lot of guess and conjecture because no one knows what he thinks because he's not saying. You can

Talon, I have always been under the impression that Brian wrote Show Must Go On. ??? If you were going to credit one person...it would be Brian. Putting all the interviews together Brian did *most of it* He has said that he heard this synth movement that Roger and John were doing and he felt it was something important so he took that as the basis and created the rest of the song. However Freddie and him collaborated on lyrics - mostly Brian wrote a draft of sorts and Freddie changed some around here and there. SO for some reason I have a hard time crediting JUST Brian with it.Hell I should actually make it all 4 considering the basis is Roger and John. It's always tough for the albums after A Kind Of Magic as they were credited to all 4. And the albums before although credited to just one had collaboration throughout. Some are easier than others though such as I Want It All which was definitely Brian given all interviews and likewise Days Of Our Lives was definitely Roger

After watching Helene do I Lovr R&R, she and Adam could do a "bend off" competition, or perhaps a "Booty Shake" competition.
