Of course I respect a fan's right to express their love for Adam and their own creativity in any way they want. After all, I spend hours and hours creating an Adam calendar every year, so who am I to talk? Just because I respect their right to expression, it doesn't mean that I enjoy seeing it. I also do not think I have to withhold my opinions about work that fans post on the web or in public forums. It seems to me that they are posting in order to get a response from others, right? If it is only for their own pleasure that they create, they don't need to share it with anyone on the web. By the same token, I am also free to express my opinions about an artist's work or actions. If they are public, put out by artists for others to view, I figure they are fair game. I try to be thoughtful and respectful in my expression, but I don't see a need to censor myself in a forum designed for lively discussion. I haven't seen one single post that' s been disrespectful. It's all been, "This is what i like, this is what i don't like." heck people have different tastes. Some people don't like Renoir! Unbelievable, but true!! Absolutely. I haven't read any criticism or trashing. Just expressing preference. We do that with Adam's hair, his beard, his shoes and his ear gauges. It's just discussion to pass the time til we get NEW MUSIC!!!!!

Queenofthenight, belated thanks for finding the Helene Fischer vids. IWIA is not my favorite of the QAL songs; love Brian'a solo, but lyrically it's so repetitive. Also, it came in the QAL tour right after STL and seemed anticlimactic after the audience got so revved up.
But I LOVE this Helene Fischer IWIA, what energy and vocal attack. It's also nice to see a TV spot where it's not the typical STL/WRC/WWRY. And Brian and the whole band was on fire. Adam looked and sounded and moved great.
I wasn't as put off by the WWTLF duet with Helene. As some have said, it's a pretty theatrical song. Helene is fascinating, like a doll.

Whether I personally like a piece of fan art or not, and no matter how skillfully or ineptly it has been produced, I always appreciate the creativity, good intentions, and love of Adam that inspired it. The only Adam art I can't condone is art produced with intent to denigrate or hurt Adam, and/or any segment of his fanbase (like the "sparkle cow" stuff a few years back). Agreed. Your post is perfect.

Adam mention. www.femalefirst.co.uk/music/musicnews/nile-rodgers-beatles-changed-life-568019.htmlNile Rodgers claims Beatles changed his lifeby Daniel Falconer | 16 December 2014 Nile Rodgers says that his life was changed by The Beatles. The musician revealed their track 'A Day In The Life' was the first he played on the guitar and thus prompted him to chase a career in the music industry. Speaking to Popjustice.com he explained: "The first song I ever learned to play was a Beatles song called 'A Day In The Life'. That changed the whole course of my entire career." He also went on to reveal that he still isn't fully confident about his musical ability, despite the huge success he's seen throughout his extensive career. In fact he typically assumes people don't or won't like his songs. "I don't go into a project assuming that it's going to be a hit. I go into a project assuming it's going to be a failure and then do everything in my power to try and help people hear the music." Working with the likes of Avicii, Adam Lambert and Sam Smith in just the past few years, he contributed to worldwide smash hit single 'Get Lucky' by Daft Punk and confesses he's actually very picky about who he collaborates with. "People that I admire, respect and people that I believe that I'm going to learn from. I always go into a situation feeling highly confident I am going to teach them something and it really doesn't matter whether its Placido Domingo or Avicii, I believe that if I don't have something to offer you, why do you use me? "If I can't give you something new then why do you need me? I always believe in working with somebody who is going to teach me something."

Folks, expressing opinions is fine. When done respectfully. And stated as YOUR opinion, not as fact. Please think what words you choose.
