Gelly @14gelly · 5 minute ago Brian May Says Adam Lambert Has A Greater Vocal Range Than Freddie Mercury www.rttnews.com/2433254/brian-may-says-adam-lambert-has-a-greater-vocal-range-than-freddie-mercury.aspx …
Brian May has opened up about his experience of performing live with Adam Lambert, saying that the young singer reaches vocal high notes never even attempted by Freddie Mercury. During a recent interview with Ultimate Classic Rock, May said that Lambert fell into the role with ease.
"We didn't look for this guy, but suddenly he's there — and he can sing all of those lines," he began.
"See, they're difficult songs to sing, Queen songs. There's too much range that plenty of people can't sing them in the original key — even if they are good singers. Adam comes along, and he can do it easy. He can do it in his sleep! He can sing higher than even Freddie could, in a live situation."
May and original Queen member Roger Taylor first hit the road with the former American Idol star in 2009 and have played a number of tour stints with him since. They are currently booked throughout 2015.

Hi shimoli710,
Thank you, honey! The weather is gorgeous now, so I have full of pleasure from it now, because these hot days are yet to come ..... then I start to complain....
Yay for the nice weather there. We have quite a good and not too cold weather here. No snow (I don't complain too much though ) I just hope there won't be too much snow and a cold weather in Europe in January and February when the QAL tour starts. All the pleces with the concerts are about 300 - 500 km from my house and it would be difficult to get there if the weather is bad. *fingers crossed for things to go well*

And, of course, Brian did not say what is in the headline. He said Adam can sing higher that Freddie -- well this is not news. Freddie was a Baritone and Adam is a High Tenor. Brian has never said anything about range. AND Roger is the one with the amazing range - E2 - E6 and in his prime he went as low as A1/B2 depending on year.

Well, well. The Dutch press is writing about Adam again. I'll link to the articles for the die hards who enjoy seeing Adams name inbetween a lot of other incomprehensible words. There is nothing new here, just rehashing Brians interview (Adam can sing higher etc.), so I won't translate. filmenuitgaan.nl/r/23473498www.rtlnieuws.nl/boulevard/entertainment/brian-may-blij-met-adam-lambertThe last one is quite a major site, and the headline says "Brian May happy with Adam Lambert" which I think is a totally great summary of the interview
