Ysabelle -- I had to laugh at the two videos that we posted at the same time. What a contrast!!! It's what I love about Adam -- he is so multi-faceted and so entertaining that I can't get enough of him!

Don't know a lot of these people on here but of the ones I do know....how the heck did Lionel Richie and Bruno Mars place higher than Adam? I listened to snippets of each artist that was posted. But, then again, listening to a snippet of NCOE, it really does not show what Adam can do vocally. It is, for him, very unimpressive. I would not know how good he is by listening to that .... sorry, I cannot think of an adjective or noun to describe what I think about the song. Why did RCA pick that????? Must be an Australian based site because huge number of people on it are Aussies. John Farnham is a genuine contender (and often highly underrated) - he's the guy who sand "I'm the voice..." Never understand some of these lists, just weird. I see Q3 has already noted Aussie connection above...

I think some particularly here are too focused on vocal technique and ability. Most songs on the radio that are hits. 90% of the time are not hits because of great vocals. But has an immediate hook, catchy etc. Grabs you from the first second. Its about the overall work. So like in Grammy noms for eg. Best Vocal Performance. Is not neccessary based on the vocal talent. But the overall work of the music. In Ncoe case it was not choosen as a single because of its great vocals. Although they were solid. But other various reasons.

Dear, dear momtomany... Grab every moment of joy you can! I have had two major strokes in the last 10 days and am now able to decipher letters to a word ...yay! You are a ray or light and I often look at your photo from the QAL concert I have saved. Live life to the fullest !!! Adam is a gift of love </img> ... Caroline/Sagittarius Caroline, those are wise words from a wise woman. There is a cliche - live every day of your life but it is no cliche. It is the core of what it means to be alive. I hold you in my heart and in a space of healing. Despite what you have gone through physically, you are fully alive. Wishing you grace and light.

Sagittarius. Thinking of you. Maybe the video I'm nominating will cheer you up! It has audience interaction (tongue diving), costume dishevelment, sexy dancing and a stratospheric note! Adam Lambert - 20th Century Boy *IMPROVED VERSION* Providence ht tps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jpxLjwTn-eE&feature=player_embedded Well, that woke me up. Definitely should be on some kind of list. Whew!

Too focused on vocal technique and ability? Impossible. Adam's technique and ability are masterful. Rare and beautiful to hear and see. It is what first drew my attention to the man at "Mama..." The reason I fell down this particular rabbit hole. Too focused??? Hush your mouth, sir! I have no argument with the rest of your post. You are 100% correct that most songs on the radio, most top 40 songs are not about great vocals. Most pop singers are not great singers. Some cannot carry a tune in a bucket. Which is why there are no top 40 radio stations tuned in on my car radio, and no top 40 playlists on my iPod. However, the article purported to be a list of the 10 BEST MALE VOCALISTS. So, shouldn't vocal technique and ability be the first criterion? Not the songs they are famous for? Just sayin'.

Thought thus was interesting Adam Lamberts Google Search Trends Graph since 09. This graph is very interesting. The peak from the NYE concert in the UK is almost as large as the 2009 Idol peak. The average viewership for Idol in 2009 was around 20 million while the NYE viewership was 5-6 million first 45 minutes and 10 million last 15 minutes. Seems like the NYE concert had an even bigger effect. But then more people are likely online now than in 2009. But, this is SO BIG!!! And if Shosh says we ain't seen nothing yet, I wonder just what else is in store that can top this??? Well, I had a dream last night that to introduce A3, they had a 2 hour Adam Lambert music special on a major TV channel in the US. And they invited all of his friends in the music business, Nile Rogers, Pharell, Katie, etc., and of course Queen. They all sang songs with Adam and Adam had a few solo numbers too. What else could be bigger? I am not sure who created this graph but it is not correct -- or at least not the UK, US or the world. There is a big peak for NYE but only about half of the worldwide peak for Idol. It is by far the highest he has ever been in the UK where 2009 Idol and AMA 2009 are barely noticeable.
