Adam just keeps looking so handsome and gorgeous these latest pictures are beautiful.. ITA! I've wondered if he's recently gotten a new stylist or if his multitudinous successes are just shining through. He's always been stunning, don't get me wrong; even when the style he has sported hasn't been to my liking, he has still appeared more put-together and charismatic than anyone I see day-to-day in the real world. He just seems to be so lit from within of late, and I LOVE the shape his newly trimmed beard has taken. It beautifully accentuates his strong jaw and highlights his chiseled cheekbones. My husband actually just saw one of Adam's recent pictures and commented on how large his jaw appeared. He actually thought he'd had some kind of structural surgery. I assured him that I look for new pics daily and that I'd have noticed his absence had he disappeared to have reconstructive work done! I really think the new beard shape is just gorgeous on him! LOL! I was sitting with my son at a restaurant today and thought, day-um, if AFL would walk in here right now he would just light this place up. I'm sure people who just happen upon him somewhere probably stop in their tracks and just look at him with their mouths open! Well....that's what I'd probably do!

FYI hope everyone here knows not to post photos of your tickets with bar codes showing as they can then be stolen. I tweeted her that she should delete the pics but wanted to make sure to remind all our peeps about this. Plus if you ever forget and do this it is worth calling the ticket broker to see if the tickets can be reissued and the old ones invalidated. This is also why Ticketmaster when reselling tickets for you issues the buyer with new tickets and invalidates your originals. Prevents duplicate selling. Mod: Did not know that! I will delete the photo here.

And secondly, happenstantially, I read this article by Mike Rowe, who was responding to comments on his Facebook page: redpanda and cassie thank you for this conversation and junie, thank you for the book recommendation (I will happily read it). cassie, I understand your perspective and agree that this is the case for most individuals. Psychology tells us though, that there is another aspect, the 'geniuses' you refer to that are defined by their giftedness and it IS innate. There are individuals who are slightly, moderately or profoundly gifted in a range of areas - including intellectually and emotionally or artistically. This does not negate what you are saying for most people. What gifted individuals perceive, know, can do cannot be taught and it cannot be learned to the degree to which they naturally have a particular attribute. They can (but not universally) be spotted because they are the ones that take asynchronous leaps or make unexpected or new innovations in their particular field. Why? Because the research tells us that who they are/what they have naturally is not simply a quantifiable difference - more of something which can be learned or developed, but something that is qualitatively different. Meaning, that the perceptions/ qualities/ expressions of the gift are on a different perceptual plane than most people can access - they can shift gears to more and different seemingly at will. They don't simply have more water in their well, they have a different type of water in it. But they also need to do what everyone else does to be successful, just as you say. From the perspective of a vocalist/performer one of the key expressions would be an emotional and sensory giftedness that permits an extraordinary artistry that moves and connects with others, that cannot be mimicked by someone even if they are as technically, or even more technically proficient. It is the difference, for example between 'knowing' something and 'understanding' it. They are very different states. I wholeheartedly agree with you about 'believe' when you don't have the right stuff - it is necessary though even for those on the 'right' track.
