What a find flowerpot! Roger: " We ARE CHANGING THE SET A BIT FOR GLASGOW" !!!!"BRILLIANT SINGER ADAM LAMBERT"and it was funny how the host said "the sold out tour so it doesn;t matter any more" - i guess relating to promotion of the tour This does not surprise! I felt like the sequence of songs was a vocal Olympics for Adam! I was freakin exhausted just listening! I think they do have to change it up a tad....I know they're trying to "rock hard" but man...it was almost frenetic at times. Like several of you I miss the old opening. Really disliked One Vision at first listen on stream...appreciated it much more with the clear video....but that middle bit is weird to me AND it really lacks the drama that Here I am gave the opening.... I miss the The Procession too...going to be interesting following how everything is tweaked. ....................it's 11 o'clock. Perhaps I should get out of my pajamas! (I'm going to have to set a "stanning time limit". Geez!

I can't believe this is happening! After 6 years of following Adam and being puzzled as to why the rest of the world can't see his phenomenal talent they are at last getting it, at least in the UK. Now I'm actually happy that Adam did not have great success right from the start. If he had reached superstar status from his first album he may not have had the time or inclination to devote so much time to Queen and we would never have got to hear him sing these gorgeous songs. It seems impossible for him to get better but every time he performs he does!! Success is so worth waiting for! There are still people to win over. One of my daughters told me the other day he was fading away!! She has no knowledge of his touring with Queen outside of NA or the NYE gig. So I pointed out that he was the most googled person in the UK for the first 2 days of this year. She then said well he needed Queen to make it and couldn't have achieved that success on his own. There may be truth in that but I can't wait for this new album with the proper promotion to take the world by storm and turn Adam into a legend. I'm almost embarrassed to repeat this but when I pointed out that no one else has the range to cover the Queen catalogue she suggested Sam Smith!!! She thinks his range is just as good. I must be a failure as a parent.

Just FYI, while you are there anyway Queen also is nominated for Best Commercial and for Best Live Release with Live At The Rainbow 74. The link to the next category is below the vote button.

**** Frankly, I'm jealous! Enjoy another hour for me - so much nicer than grabbing a quick peek and bookmarking videos that I lose track of... February will be over before we know it - We can get organized and productive in March...

I loved that rousing rushonrock review but disagree with this- I like that it is Queen + Adam Lambert and think it should (and will) remain so. Adam is not "Queen"- he is Adam Lambert and deserves to have his name featured EVERYWHERE. TOTALLY AGREE!!! ABSOLUTELY TOTALLY AGREE!!!

Sam Smith does not have the range, nor is he talented enough to perform the Queen catalog. Sorry, but feeling a little grumpy.

I have the same thing with one of my daughters...I have given up telling her how I feel about lots of things... LOL

Take heart, Curly, I think for most parents, part of a young person's growing up process is to, at some point, disparage the things you might like. She may be a sekrit Glambert someday. melliemom wrote:melliemom, seems we have had some similar mom stuff. It is a good thing and a bad thing, IMO, because when the communications starts flowing again sometimes you hear about the things they did that you didn't ever know about, and now they feel free to tell you!
