Ha! I found something funny on the facebookpage with pictures of Herning (by Thilo Rahn). www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.10205172754671768&type=1&l=7f291f942dI met the guy in the blue shirt in the line for the Cologne show. He told me he wasn't a fan an didn't even know Queen or Adam that well, just tagged along with a friend, and was planning to go to two shows. He was great fun. Then to my utter surprise and delight I met him again at the bar in a random cafe after the Amsterdam show. And here he is again, in Denmark. Another one bites the dust. :D If anybody knows his name, please let me know! Because he wrote it down so I could find him on facebook, but in the drunkenness and general party spirit after the QAL show I lost that piece of paper.

OR it could be that he is a fair skinned light eyed Californian who appreciates not only rhe aesthetic of the sunglasses and cap but also the comfort and UV protection that they provide. This ^^ In Cali we wear sunglasses pretty much all the time. Maybe because they are such a necessity out here & a big fashion accessory. I have 4 pair. It also makes him incognito and hides tired eyes. #CaliThings Remember, even though it is cloudy, the sun is still there! (We also walk around with water bottles 24/7. LOL!) Hi!

I have like 10 pairs, lol. I'm a sunglasses freak! I wear them indoors sometimes for short periods and I have glare issues to begin with so they help with that.

I watched a couple of music and vaguely Adam related things on TV yesterday. One of them was "Who the F**k is Arthur Fogel?" which has been around for awhile and is a really interesting commentary on Live Nations and artists touring. Gaga and U2 are prominently placed. The other smaller thing was an Et Canada interview of Kelly Clarkson. She was asked about Idol contracts...they referenced P2's disengagement struggles....and she was generally complimentary to Fuller and 19, but, she also said this next album of hers is finally her last one to fulfil her 19E contract.....She also acknowledged that hers was a much 'better' contract than the ones the winners are getting now....fyi

As I am one of the least 'rawk' fans on this site, Q3 will be jealous pleased to hear that as a very young teen, I actually saw Jimi Hendrix live when he played a gig in my town He was on his first tour in the UK and was on the same bill as Pink Floyd and the Nice (Keith Emerson of ELP was in the line up). The theatre was half empty too! I like Brian's playing because he makes beautiful, harmonious sounds most of the time (not a fan of shredding). WOW! You know what...you may not know it but you MAY have seen Brian and Roger at that same gig There was a big gig in the UK when Jimi headlined a bill with Pink Floyd and a little lower on the bill was...Smile - Brian and Roger's pre-Queen band. Four amsuing anecdotes from that gig: They met Jimi for the one and only time when he stumbled into them and said...."Where's the stage, man?" Free was also on the bill but somehow billed lower than Smile despite having a hit single! Some of the footage survived and has been seen in Queen documentaries - unfortunately it was silent footage. Finally Smile got their first positive review...athough unnamed - "The loudest band in the western world unplugged and left the stage" No, not the same gig unfortunately. This was 25 November 67. The others on the bill apart from the ones I already named were The Move (big British rock band of the time but not known in the US), Amen Corner (pop group) & 2 other forgotten acts. Jimi played a short set of Sgt Peppers, Fire, Hey Joe, Wind Cries Mary, Purple Haze & Wild Thing. It may have been his second tour though as I just looked it up and the blog indicates the 1st tour was April that year.

Actually just realized - squashing my facts together a bit here. 1984 was the band that opened for Jimi/Floyd/Move, etc. 1984 was Brian's pre-Smile band with Smile bassist/vocalist Tim Staffel - and that was on Dec. 23, 1967! So close! Smile didn't open for Jimi but played a date at the Royal Albert Hall which was a few days after Jimi. Sorry for the mistake :D

yeah, it really is counterproductive, wearing sunglasses when there is no big sun, you are like a person with a big sign above the head saying "Look At Me! I Am Cool" OR it could be that he is a fair skinned light eyed Californian who appreciates not only rhe aesthetic of the sunglasses and cap but also the comfort and UV protection that they provide. Regarding the sunglasses, I think it could be the color of his eyes. My eyes are the same blue/gray/green color and I wear sunglasses year round when I'm outdoors. Even if it's a cloudy day my eyes feel better wearing sunglasses.

Nice pics! Gelly @14gelly 30s30 seconds ago View translation RT @neon_Sarcasm: Concert: Queen + Adam Lambert wp.me/p4wkDD-Lf
Concert: Queen + Adam Lambert February 17, 2015 18:12 / Leave a Comment / Mariesen
On Sunday, it finally happened. I had seen Queen + Adam Lambert in Jyske Bank Boxen . Our seats were quite okay and we will have a good view of the stage. We arrived at 18:00 time and the concert got started about 20:20. It was a truly fantastic concert and I got the opportunity so I like it again and again and again: D At one point, during the concert, sat Brian May alone on stage and got the whole hall to sing along to "Love of My Life" . It was crazy touching and he ruse also tears. There was not one, not song and it sounded incredibly beautiful ♥
