OR it could be that he is a fair skinned light eyed Californian who appreciates not only rhe aesthetic of the sunglasses and cap but also the comfort and UV protection that they provide. This ^^ In Cali we wear sunglasses pretty much all the time. Maybe because they are such a necessity out here & a big fashion accessory. I have 4 pair. It also makes him incognito and hides tired eyes. #CaliThings Remember, even though it is cloudy, the sun is still there! (We also walk around with water bottles 24/7. LOL!) Hi! [img style="max-width:100%;" src=" Hey there! Didn't recognize you at first! I look like such a nerd, my sunglasses slip over my regular glasses and I wear them all of the time.

I remember Adam saying that a hat and sunglasses is all he usually needs to remain unrecognized. There's also the UV factor - he is fair-skinned and fair-eyed. Being of the same "genre" I too find that sunglasses help tremendously even on cloudy days. I used to even wear yellow lenses when driving at night. Yes, and wearing that fur collar coat that every Glambert knows so well is a great disguise! I think that Q+AL has kind of make Adam a bit too famous to hide is Europe like he used to. And that is a very, very good thing. Of course, there are a lot of people traveling to these same cities to see these concerts and some/all are on "high alert" to spot him.

Q3 note: this is not a "real review". It is posted on a one-author website dedicated to metal music. Confused me so I am adding this so it is not picked up as "news" or as a concert review.
Old dude goes to a QAL concert, but really wanted a ride on a time machine.Devilution THE MEAT OF SPARINGLY AND GRAVY FOR LUKEWARMHenrik Kjellerup Bro February 16, 2015 It was a visually rich menu that was created and served for a sold-out and expectant Boxen in Herning, as Queen and Adam Lambert invited in on Sunday. Unfortunately lived taste is not quite up to the visual impression. Guitarist Brian May and drummer Roger Taylor, who represents the remains of Queen after Freddie Mercury's death in 1991 and bassist John Deacon's withdrawal from showbiz in 1995, has once again dragged the institution Queen out on the road. This time with the former wingman in the American Idol competition Adam Lambert. Lack of charisma One can argue long and long for that Lambert fits better in Queen universe than Paul Rodgers, who toured with the band in 2005 to 2008. But it is hard to argue that Lambert is a better - or just a remotely as good - rock singer Paul Rodgers. It was also in the more pop songs like 'Somebody to Love', 'Another One Bites the Dust', 'Radio Ga Ga 'and especially' Save Me 'that Lambert worked best. By contrast, it is not well in the harder Queen songs that the band especially in its first year brought to the world. 'Stone Cold' and 'I Want it All' went fairly well, but 'Seven Seas of Rhye' and 'Tie Your Mother Down' was decidedly ugly. Meanwhile, Adam Lambert does not have the charisma, as Freddie Mercury possessed: www.youtube.com/watch?v=RgSwdZ4ZkM8Completely mad was a overteatralsk version of 'Killer Queen'. The song was badly sung and Lamberts crawling around on a purple couch was more clumsy than kitschQueen + Adam Lambert KILLER QUEEN Detroit (Auburn Hills)RequestAdamLambert www.youtube.com/watch?v=Woo2mfK_7mQFreddie Mercury was never afraid to expose himself and his enormous ego in the most theatrical - and yes, kitschy - way, but it was always in the most arrogant and caricatured way that it gave a refreshingly ironic distance. The same Lambert fails in any way. He appears in it all as an X Factor / American Idol version of Freddie Mercury without making an independent interpretation of or added nuances to his inspiration. For a little show setup for the current tour is great. But it is surprising that, with the flamboyant Lambert in the foreground has not done more to produce an actual show, rather than appear as a rock band on tour. True, there was a bed in the 'Killer Queen', but that it was dragged on stage by two roadies instead of getting up from the floor or from the ceiling was certainly not in the spirit of Freddie Mercury. Queen is no longer a band. It's Brian May and Roger Taylor with a singer and some guest musicians. Good enough is Spike Edney (who was also touring musician with Queen in the old days) on keyboards, Neil Fairclough on bass and Roger Taylor's son Rufus Tiger Taylor on percussion and drums. But they appear not as a part of the band. They remain mostly in the shade, and it is only occasionally that they can be seen on the three big screens flanking the stage. The cameras are almost exclusively focused on May, Taylor and Lambert, and although sometimes seems a little grave robbery when Freddie Mercury appears in duet with Brian May in an otherwise quite beautiful version of 'Love of My Life' and 'Bohemian Rhapsody' . But it would be natural to let the show be a little more show marked and possibly. the nature of a theatrical concert where you could involve more cabaret-like songs like 'Bring Back That Leroy Brown', ('Sheer Heart Attack'), 'Lazing on a Sunday Afternoon' or 'Seaside Rendezvous' (' A Night at the Opera ') or' Good Old-Fashioned Lover Boy '(' A Day at the Races'). Småkedeligt song choice On the whole, the song selection on the tour too boring and traditional. The choice is clearly focused on delivering hits, and the set list is almost identical to that (when frases songs recorded with Paul Rogders at 'The Cosmos Rocks'), which you toured with in the period 2005 to 2008. In between this, it must be admitted star parade of songs, is there going to be a completely unnecessary amount of solo input of the various musicians. It is possible that it is associated with Adam Lambert's need to repeatedly switch the leather outfit, but it is nevertheless enervating. A long bass solo followed by drum solo followed by a "drum battle" between Roger Taylor and sønnemand is just not very interesting when the level is no more spectacular than was the case in the box. A guitar solo from the otherwise still excellent playing Brian May was a bit more encouraging, but should be the map down to much less than half. Then when you do not want to play more whimsical songs and not have the courage to plunge into the hard and progressive songs from Queens first 4:00 to 5:00 album, so you could then at least cut down on solopjattet and instead play hits like 'Bicycle Race', 'Do not Stop Me Now' or 'The Show Must go On'. There was certainly fine sequences, good rates and many fine songs for the concert with Queen + Lambert in Herning. But the big concert experience was unfortunately not. It should be emphasized that the audience in the sold out Boxen seemed thrilled.

I just voted for Brian but really only because I like him as a person much more. IMO Jimmy Page is really the better guitarist. When we get to the finals, no matter how much I love Bri, I will have to vote for Jimi Hendrix. I think even Brian will be voting for Jimi. Meh. I disagree there! I like Page, but it always seemed to be he nicked old blues recordings and just updated them. YES he updated them EXTREMELY well and Zep is PHENOMENAL. But I think Brian and his orchestration is far more original and more worthy than Jimmy Page...but to each their own;) As for JimI? Well yeah I don't have an argument there The can be no argument about Jimi Hendrix. And we will have to agree to disagree about Bri. This is not a composition contest. But for flat out playing the guitar, and forgetting how much I detest what Jimmy Page did when he ripped off blues songwriters, he is a great classic rock guitarist. He is in my top 10 list. I adore Brian May. I love some of his songs. I love his nerdiness. I think he is underrated. BUT I do not think he is one of the top four rock guitarists of all time. When you come down to it, I pretty much agree with David Fricke when he did his top 100 guitarists: "I looked at it this way: Jimi Hendrix was Number One in every way; the other 99 were all Number Two." Read more: www.rollingstone.com/music/lists/100-greatest-guitarists-of-all-time-19691231#ixzz3S1twdCwyThat said, too many great guitarists are not on that poll. Here are a few that on not on there: BB King Duane Allman Johnny Ramone Robert Johnson Keith Richards Chuck Berry Ry Cooder Kurt Cobain Jerry Garcia Carlos Santana Jack White Mike Bloomfield In the poll and on my top 10 list: Stevie Ray Vaughan (put up against Jimi in round one -- he deserved a better seed) Eric Clapton - IMO he is a bit over rated. Jimmy Page
