I am glad Adam is on that list and I that Q+AL New Years has probably has FINALLY made him famous in the UK. On Ru Paul: I think he meets the "flamboyant" criteria! And I think it is ridiculous to not have the world's most famous current drag queen on a list of flamboyant gays. Ru Paul is the creator and MC/Star of the #1 "Gay" TV program in the world. It has been LOGOs #1 show for 6 years, it is aired all over the world and streamed online. A UK version of the show is in development. And I think he is quite famous. JMHO. The list of current, under 50, flamboyant celebrities is very short -- Adam and ? Ru Paul is the only other one! > There are many flamboyant straight celebrities but flamboyant and gay seems to be out of style. Now we seem to have a lot of nice gay men in nice suits -- Matt Bomer, Rickey Martin, Sam Smith, etc. Look at the list.... Over 50 #2 Elton John #5 Boy George (the youngest excluding Adam and he is 53) #6 Julian Clary #7 David Bowie (not gay but 68) Dead but all would have been over 50 #1 Liberace #3 Freddie Mercury #4 Oscar Wilde #8 Andy Warhol #9 Rudolph Nureyev How did they compile a list of most flamboyant gay celebs without including Johnny Weir? Johnny's very fun, and very talented, and he's about as out there as it gets. I'll never forget a conversation I had with my friend's husband during the last Winter Olympics. He's a very macho Texan and totally didn't get Johnny or his senses or humor and style. We got into the biggest argument, which ended up being kinda funny. Great one! I was so pleased that NBC had Tara Lipinski and Johnny Weir back for the US Nationals. They made the show great! Not sure Johnny makes my list but I would knock of David Bowie (not gay), Boy George (was hot for a while but not sustained), and Julian Clary (not famous enough). I would add RuPaul, and Gianni Versace or Yves Saint Laurent on my list. And I would move Adam Lambert up. 1. Elton John 2. Freddie Mercury 3. Liberace 4. Oscar Wilde 5. Adam Lambert 6. Andy Warhol 7. Giani Versace 8. ?? 9. Rudolph Nureyev 10. RuPaul I have to think about #8. **** On a related topic -- Clay Aiken fans are spamming the OUT poll! Clay is up to second place and moving up rapidly, at 5%. They might be using bots and OUT might fix it. It is meaningless but let's not let Clay win this.

I hate the term "flamboyant" for Adam. I think all it does to Adam is make him seem totally far-out and weird and discounts his amazing talent and separates him from any possible mainstream appeal. He is not a RuPaul type and doesn't need to be classified in that way to the general public, IMO. So have at it... I happen to agree .. room for me behind that door .. but have to say that is one talented group of people on that list

Just had to do some snooping...to check out the lifestyles of the rich and famous! Based on the livingroom furniture ...pretty sure, it is the GOLF suite...and what a suite. Rate upon request. It has two bedrooms...maybe Rufus stays with Dad! www.thedoldergrand.com/fileadmin/user_upload/thedoldergrand.com/factsheets/Rooms/Golf_Suite_Factsheet_2012.pdfI remember when Adam was touring, Isaac tweeted about having to organize/sort out his receipts for meals etc. I was assuming he was organizing them to have them available for for income tax time. I am sure something are paid for on a tour and others are still the individuals expense. It is hard to know if the expenses for hotels comes out of each artists pocket /s omething they manage on their own, or whether it can be a partial deductible, or even part of the Live Nation contract. Just gets me to thinking about all the details of a tour and how easy or complicated the negotiations are. Wowzers...2,700./night is a pretty pricey room!!! With a casino gig I get that a room(s) are "comped".... but not for this kind of tour. But hey...what do I know of this kind of stuff?? Very little!!! I say, enjoy the view Adam!

Likely the family stayed together. Roger's daughter Lola was in Zurich per Rufus's instagram posting.
