Some Probable TOH Collaborators
3.7.15 by Q3
queenofthenight posted the three Harry Fox registered song listings in yesterday’s news thread. These popped up on Apr 26, 2014 which was after Adam’s TOH writing camp had ended but I had forgotten about them. These songs are most likely finished songs that were selected for TOH and are available for other artists to use.
Love The Enemy
Alibi
We Are The Exes
Although these songs did not make the album, these songwriters were almost certainly part of the TOH songwriting camp: Tobias Lundgren, Tim Mikael Larsson, Johan Fransson, Paul Aiden, Oscar Gorres, Iya, and Hayley Michelle Aitken. Source: Harry Fox song registration.
Play Production: Swedish songwriting/production team based in Örebro, Sweden consisting of Johan Fransson, Tim Larsson & Tobias Lundgren.
Three of these songwriters are a Swedish writer producer team who are Play Production: Tim Larsson, Johan Fransson & Tobias Lundgren who have been successful in Europe and Japan, and are now working with US mainstream pop and Country artist. They have written and/or produced tracks for Rascal Flatts (the album recently debuting at #3 on the Billboard 200, and at #1 on the Country Chart), Clay Aiken, Xenia (The Voice US), the Canadian Tenors. Add to that , Katherine Jenkins, and Ivy Quainoo (Winner of The Voice Germany). They also wrote the only original song on Susan Boyle's multi million selling debut album. In addition to writing pop songs, they have written music for several ad campaigns and TV shows including Ikea, 3 Mobile and SVT. According to their website, they are currently working with Josh Groban, with Nashville artists, and on projects with the legendary David Foster..
Paul Aiden, Oscar Gorres, Iya, and Hayley Michelle Aitken are not a writing team. They are young songwriters who were brought together because of this project.
Paul Aiden is an artist and songwriter based in London, working internationally across a range of genres – from EDM to folk, rock, R&B and pop. Originally signed as a recording artist with Universal Australia, the past years have seen him concentrating on writing for others, whilst also appearing as a featured artist on multiple releases worldwide.
Paul has had success in different territories around the world, including multiple chart positions in the UK and North America (inc. USA number 2 iTunes/Canada number 3 iTunes dance), number 2 in Denmark, number 3 in Romania and a radio hit in Brazil. His songs have had radio play in the UK, USA, Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Holland, Belgium, Brazil, Romania, France, Australia and Germany. Combined streams of his songs are now over 3 Million, with 11 Million combined views on YouTube. Songs have gained press worldwide with features in Billboard USA.
Over the past 3 years, his songwriting has seen him working in Sweden, Germany, Italy, Dubai and Australia, collaborating with a wide variety of artists. He is currently working with 3Beat/Universal, Axtone, Size, Warner Germany, Armada, Spinnin’, Ministry of Sound, WEA USA, PRMD/Universal and more – with artists from the UK, USA, Sweden, Germany, Australia, Brazil, Scandinavia, Belgium and Holland.

Oscar Michael Gorres is a Swedish musician and songwriter who has written songs for Swedish, UK and American artists including Ella Eyre, Maroon 5 and Cher Lloyd. He is primarily credited as a composer.
Hayley Michelle Aitken is a 26 year old Australian singer-songwriter. Her recording career was stalled when her debut album was not released by her label.
Iya could be one of at least 3 people. If you know who/which one this is, please post in the thread.
Nice Adam Mention
Source: Rolling Stone interview with Mary Lambert 3.5.15
Q: "Same Love" was one of several LGBT anthems that became big hits in the past five years. Lady Gaga's "Born This Way" and Kacey Musgraves' "Follow Your Arrow" also come to mind. Do you feel songs like these play it safe? What are your thoughts on pushing the envelope?
Mary Lambert: I'm not sure. I'm thinking of Frank Ocean, Sam Smith, Adam Lambert and me. With the knowledge that your favorite artist is gay, you know that the context of which they're singing is going to be inherently gay. And I think what's beautiful about that is that it doesn't deter anyone from listening. That's what I think is really important about gay artists being in the spotlight. I understand the plight of an artist singing a song and not using gendered pronouns because it can alienate some of their audience, but I've found success with using a gendered pronoun – but that's my story. I'm curious about what the next step is and how to be an asset.

The Ultimate Adam Lambert Live Performances
3.7.15 by Q3
Finally, something to vote for that really matters! In January, we started an effort to build the ultimate Adam Lambert Live playlist. We picked some great songs. More about that later because while we were voting, Adam kind of messed it all up by laying down some huge performances as the Queen + Adam Lambert UK/EU Tour took they whole thing up a notch.
So, before we select the Ultimate Adam Lambert Live Performances, we need to pick the best 2015 Q+AL performances. And what better way to kick that off than with the first half of the show stopping combination of WWTLF-SM. (Don’t worry, SM will be up next!)
“Who Wants To Live Forever” -- the song Adam Lambert has truly made his own
by Cassie
WWTLF is an operatic aria disguised as a big rock ballad. It has a very challenging range, especially as Adam interprets it. It requires great technique and strength to perform. It has drama and passion and an amazingly powerful climax.
When we talk about what songs we want to see videos of from each concert, WWTLF is in the top three. Adam seems to have perfected the interpretation, but just when we think it cannot get any better, it does! So, in picking the best of QAL 2015, we started with WWTLF, asking Atop members to nominate their personal favorite versions and videos.
But, what constitutes “best?” Are we talking about the picture quality? Close up or panoramic? Jiggled or steady? HQ or standard? Or are we selecting the “best” audio? With or without audience participation? Are we considering primarily the vocal performance? How close to perfect was it in terms of pitch, technique and breath support? How many glory notes did Adam throw in, and where? Are we talking about creativity? What did he do that was different in melody line, phrasing, and riffing? And let’s not forget the emotional impact of the song. How wrapped up in the song was Adam, and how deeply did his performance touch you? Or is “the best” performance the one you experienced live?
The answer to “what is best” is individual and personal. The versions nominated were chosen by various folks for any one or more of the above reasons. While we hope to make the definitive list of the best of QAL live, we know that is impossible.
