Q3. Pretty much saying what I was meaning... yes... I thought ...the same ....it just did not work out financially....no big loss, If the videos were the only part he wanted the money for.... guess I had forgotten that over time ....LOL Thanks for refreshing my memory on the intent of the money. I was just now thinking he had at least produced Six songs that he could have advertised to the donors....but if that was not part of the concept....well .....just back to ....water under the bridge. This is the link to the Kickstarter page. The only things promised were various t-shirts, autographed items and one backer got a signed guitar. Non of the levels included copies of the music videos themselves, just behind the scenes footage and participation in the shoot for some levels. I remember the shoots took place and fans participated. I don't know if people received their t-shirts or other items. I see a lot of people who did not contribute complain about them not fulfilling their deal but I would be more interested in hearing from those who DID contribute as to whether they received the items that were promised at their backing level. I am not complaining but I did contribute. I contribute to many Kickstarter projects -- and many have been completed. On this one, I did not take anything from them although I donated enough to get one of the items. But I did expect to see the videos posted on YouTube eventually. And I did expect to get an update email at some point -- which I have gotten on other projects I supported. I don't think that Brian and Tommy Joe are very organized or have great donor management skills. ETA: When I contribute to a Kickstarter project it is because I support the project and what to help make it happen. I am usually not interested in the "stuff" -- particularly t-shirts.

From that Shanghai interview posted earlier! Damn, he is always so focused on what he wants! I LOVE HIM! "Each album will be its own project .... different eras and different chapters. I think that is exciting, as an artist. To constantly challenge yourself to discover something!"

On the Brian Kickstarter issue, IMO, a few tweets over the past year (since April 2014) might have been nice!

I just saw this on Twitter.... Yesterday is history, tomorrow's a mystery #AdamLambert I really do wonder what tomorrow will bring and I am bored with yesterday. **** I found another collaborator from the Sweden songwriting camp... Carl Falk Music @carlfalkmusic Great to hang with @adamlambert in Stockholm yesterday, I like your fur Source: Twitter 2.16.14
@carlfalkmusic Stockholm/Sweden • flavors.me/carlfalk
Carl is a songwriter and producer most famous for co-writing Nicki Minaj “Starships” with Onika Maraj, Nadir Khayat, Carl Falk, Rami Yacoub, Wayne Hector and Bilal Hajji. He also co-produced the track with RedOne and Rami Yacoub. “Starships” holds the record for spending the most consecutive weeks (21) in the US Billboard Top Ten.
**** Here is a bit of what we know about TOH.... The beginning: Twitter 1.20.13
Adam Lambert ✔ @adamlambert
My first Idol audition aired 5 years ago. I can't believe it's only been 5 years! I feel like I've gone thru such an amazing evolution.
I can't wait to share with you all where my heart and mind are currently thriving. Without you all, there'd be no show and tell.
This next chapter is going to be so pure. I'm so excited!!! Let's get real.*** Then Adam shared a bit from the studio .... Adam Lambert in the Studio - Stockholm 2014-02-19 youtu.be/pY1uUu8VFhAWhat I never noticed before is I think that is Carl Falk playing the guitar in the studio clip.*** And then we have the recent statements .... Adam (The Chart Show interview, Brit Awards red carpet): “Well, ah, production-wise we are going to some places I haven’t gone. There’s a lot of House Influence, a lot of Deep House. There’s a little R&B flavor here and there. And then some great timeless songwriting, And lyrically the songs are very honest …. a little more serious, they tend to be a little darker."
***
We really don't know much but I feel very optimistic about TOH -- I think that "Three times is the charm" will apply.

I was never a complainer until today. And only briefly, until I was put straight that my memory was bad and it was all about video creation. TOO MUCH TIME HAS PASSED. I kept all the emails from Brian/Kickstarter, but had not looked at them for quite sometime, until just now. I am back to not caring, although at the time was interested in the behind the scenes video, and chalk me up as one who did not get it. I am not into picks or t-shirts, etc. and do not request such gifts. For those who requested those, he did send out the email below on February 25, 2014, saying what gifts he was starting on. There was no mention of the behind the scenes video at that point, but I assumed it was because he was still working on... earning money himself/plus donations to pay the people to finish the videos. Project Update #8: Incentives
Posted by Brian London ♥ Like
Hi Guys!
I wanted to update you this week to let you know I'm getting ready to start manufacturing the shirts and pictures as well as sending out the guitar and pics. I want thank all of you that have messaged me to send more funds to finish the project. And many thanks to all of you for being so patient! Incentives may take a little time to create. When I get a finish date from the manufacturers I will update you all again.
Talk soon!
-Brian

I am happy to leave the choice of a touring band to Adam but I like and keep track of some of his past band members. Top of my list is Zac Baird. I am not a Korn fan so I was unlikely to ever learn about him except for his brief stint with Adam. Same thing for Camila Grey -- I only learned of Uh Huh Her because Camila was in Adam's touring band and now I am a fan. ETA: But I do want to hear a great band with Adam, and I want them to be his backing band when they are onstage with Adam. And that means -- they are there to support Adam. Here's a recent Berklee College of Music blog entry about Zac Baird in which his having acted as Adam's music director is mentioned: blogs.online.berklee.edu/kayleykravitz/2015/02/18/student-stories-zac-baird/The article highlights Zac's professionalism and creativity as a musician. It would be great if he was to work again with Adam as a touring keyboardist/music director.

He filled in a couple times when Camila had a conflict. Here is Adam with Zac and Longineu Parson (on hiatus from Yellowcard at the time) accompanying him -- from VH1 Unplugged -- "Broken Open" (March 10, 2010). youtu.be/QRIGnuCJCoo
