On the Brian Kickstarter issue, IMO, a few tweets over the past year (since April 2014) might have been nice! yah agree. Fold or flop... just nice to know! Just to be clear, I am not defending him just trying to bring some clarity to the issue. Pretty much every time the subject came up in my twitter feed the discussion and complaints were from people who had not contributed. Until today I had never actually heard a statement from anyone who had. I have no problem with someone who contributed money and feels shortchanged bitching about it but I thought it was a bit odd that I only saw gripes from those who did not contribute. I personally view a kickstarter contribution as a gift. If they don't fulfill whatever was promised I just know not to contribute in the future. There are so many things that can derail these projects that I think it is unfair of those who did not financially invest to engage in character bashing on the basis of it. Not all communication about a project is public. Some messages are only accessible to backers. Not all project failures are the result of people deliberately ripping people off. I doubt that Brian sat around saying "let me start a kickstarter to fleece Adam's fans".

Is it weird that this makes me proud?? ???? and i think it is also sweet and humble to come back to the show that gave him the liftstart. First to sing with a finalist at a finale too, right? Along with JHud that year? Kelly came back season 2 to sing with Ruben and Clay.

I wouldn't count Kevin Hastings on keyboard out yet. He’s posting on several different twitter accounts and still seems to be friends with Ashleigh. Still keyboarding although maybe not as much. His vibe seems to mesh with Adam’s vibe. ... Well Jablea, you did a much better job of sleuthing than I did. All I found out was that Kevin played a few gigs with Tao Cruz in 2012 & 2013, one was at a big festival in Morocco. Sounds like being constantly on the road and away from home for long periods of time was very hard on Kevin emotionally. It would explain why Kevin has spent the last few years doing musical stuff in LA and only occasionally doing gigs involving travel. And that may have been all there was to Kevin's returning home after the full band radio gig in Atlanta and Tommy taking over for the rest of the promo tour. At the time there was so much speculation from fans that Kevin had done something to make Adam mad. But I always thought that this had been planned all along and that some in this fandom have a tendency to jump to the worst possible conclusions way too easily. Aww thanks, I about gave up looking but kept changing my search parameters and followed up on different leads. I found him very interesting after watching the video on his twitter page about handing out bottled water to panhandlers. He also did one of the Trespassing remixes on Adam's Trespassing Remix EP as VanityMachine. Looks like that business was just taking off at the time so yeah, doesn't look like any bad blood just timing and didn't want to do the longish tour.

Zac was with Adam in late 2009 and early 2010 and was replaced by Camila Grey. He filled in a couple times when Camila had a conflict. ... I thought there was a Lisa on keys at some point?

Not all communication about a project is public. Some messages are only accessible to backers. Not all project failures are the result of people deliberately ripping people off. I doubt that Brian sat around saying "let me start a kickstarter to fleece Adam's fans". Yes, I have seen some of that "bitching" on Twitter and in that context your comment makes sense. I am not bitching about it, just posted about what happened. When I support a Kickstarter project or contribute to any arts organization, I have one expectation -- that is that, if the financial goal is reached, the project will be completed. If the project is not going to be completed, I expect to receive some explanation -- even a post on the Kickstarter page. Croudsourced funding (like Kickstarter) work because people who contribute believe in the project and what to see it happen. The donors rightfully have emotional ownership. Yes, backers know there are risks that a project will not be completed. But the creators also know that their reputations are on the line. Brian got all the money -- he posted that they had filmed the videos -- but no videos were released. Also, as far as I know, at least one contributor (me) has never received the promised donor item (I do not care about it and would have give it away.) This is not a big deal to me. I made the contribution because Tommy Joe was involved and I wanted to support him because he had been so nice to Adam fans and had done so much to support Adam. And thankfully, this incomplete project did not affect Tommy Joe's reputation. Tommy Joe will always have my respect as a person because he never exploited his potential fame after the AMA kiss, and he has never done anything but support Adam's success. He also is extremely nice to Adam fans, particularly some of his teen/pre-teen girl fans who are into the fan-fics (which these fans know are complete fiction).

Lisa Harrington was in the original backing band in 2009. She was replaced by Zac. Perhaps we should build a chart while we still can put the pieces together.
