I may be naive. When Adam brought his personal trainer on tour with him, I immediately thought his purpose was to maintain and improve his stamina and endurance, to build up his ability to run, dance, jump, thrust, and twirl all over the stage AND keep singing simultaneously with perfection. I also figured he liked the way he is feeling and looking with regular excercise. I just saw it as a natural progression of choosing to take good care of himself. I will not argue that the results led to the sharing of photos with the purpose of media attention. I don't think you're wrong. Adam's increased focus on working out probably did have to do with stamina, etc. to support him through the rigors of QAL touring -- he talked about the benefits of exercise as far back as the Glam Nation Tour, when he carted an exercise bike all around the U.S. and Canada. However, Adam also appears to be aware of the impact of physical appearance -- he lived through American Idol, after all. And he clearly spent some time in a gym prior to his appearances on Glee. I'm only guessing, of course, but I suspect that Adam has been motivated by the variety of benefits to working out -- from increased stamina to being voted "Most Eligible Bachelor" (and getting tweeted by hot guys).

OT but interesting. Jurors hit Robin Thicke and Pharrell Williams with $7.4-million verdict fw.to/eRdXmTgAt least Sam Smith settled in his writing violation, this had to go to court for Blurred Lines infringement. Definitely some blurred lines. I'm not surprised. Neither Pharrell nor Robin Thicke did themselves any favors in their testimony. Robin Thicke looked particularly bad -- admitting to being a liar doesn't build credibility with a jury. They should have just written the Gaye family a check and called it a day.

Definitely some blurred lines. They really should never have let that go to trial and should have settled. The big one is still pending Led Zep and "Stairway to Heaven". That will probably get settled.

I think the response is largely due to the fact Adam has never been the buff guy. Always been a good looking guy. But his arms and his physique has never been this toned before. It is shallow, but its the world we live in. It is what it takes to get pop success and celebrity. Sex sells haha. So don't hate the player, hate the game.

I went to Shoshanna's Twitter page to read through her tweets to see if there were any clues about her upcoming trip to LA. There was one tweet that I didn't understand where she said "going to LA so not so interesting for anyone other than me." When I scrolled back I also saw a conversation she had last week with The Version entertainment site. They are the ones who stated this about Adam's single: "The track, described as a 'massive slice of pop,' will premiere within the next couple of weeks, before it’s released in April." In her tweets to them, Shoshanna seemed to be objecting to another part of their article where she says the site misleads fans to believe they'll find out information about the single/hear it from them first when actually, as she told a fan earlier, the single will be announced by Adam first. She didn't call them out on the date info (unless that's covered by her saying that it was "all made up rubbish"). She seemed more concerned about the tricking fans part and hear it here first implications. The single's probably set to debut through other media, maybe in an exclusive deal that she's trying to protect. It may be wishful thinking on my part, but since she didn't specifically object to the date info that leads me to believe that rumors of the single being available "early" or "first" of April are true. And, like the article states, it will be released online a couple of weeks before that. Which means we may only have 8 to 15 more days left before we hear it! Maybe Shoshanna is coming to LA next week for Adam's music video shoot? If I'm remembering right (which I may not be!), I think she was on set for his last video. And maybe he'll be doing interviews during that time that she'll be on hand for, too. He's staying in fighting shape, that's for sure. Maybe Adam actually will perform his new single at the iHeartRadio Music Awards on March 29? The show claims that it'll feature "a look at what's coming in 2015." If his song really is online by then, at the very least I guess he'll present an award and they'll mention in his intro that his new single's out that upcoming week.

Not really on the topic lines and I don't know why I chose today to actually go to a dictionary to confirm/refute something I've had in my head for 6 years. What came to me at the very beginning was that 'a lambert' was 'a unit of light' which to me seemed eminently suitable , but I expected to see it stated in the fandom fairly quickly and being a very unsure newbie never thought about doing so myself. Now, I know my memory is nothing if not fallible but, I don't ever remember that being mentioned . So today I went to my usual sedate online dictionary source (not the one we use most often here ) and found that I was indeed correct. Encyclopedia Article for lambert unit of luminance (brightness) in the centimetre-gram-second system of physical measurement. (See the International System of Units.) It is defined as the brightness of a perfectly diffusing surface that radiates or reflects one lumen per square centimetre. The unit was named for the 18th-century German physicist Johann Heinrich Lambert. It is used by astronomers as well as by physicists, engineers, and photographers. (I'm sure Dr Bri knew this .) The icing on the cake for me today that made me think it worth posting was this little addition in the sidebar:
