Judges are just fine for me. They give some critique along with praise. I think it is really unwise for the show to have the contestants sing within 30 seconds of finding out they make the cut. The adrenalin is getting to a lot of them--pitch issues and extra breaths. They don't have time to settle in and be composed. I can't even imagine seasoned pros wanting to do that. I'd like to see Adam perform on both shows. Well the 2 hour shows started last night and there was plenty of time to compose themselves. I definitely expect Adam to be on to perform & even mentor That's not true for those contestants who had to wait through most of the two hours to find out if they were staying or going home. Nick was the last one to be called to the stage to sing, and as he watched his fellow contestants being declared safe one by one, he had to fear that he was the one who would be eliminated. Then it was, "Okay, now, sing!" seconds after he finally learned he was safe. That could not have been easy. If they're not going to have result shows, I wish they would just announce the person voted off at the beginning of the show and then proceed with the performances, but I imagine they want to keep up the suspense. I know it's cool to put down Idol these days in favor of The Voice (which I stopped watching after the first season because it bored me and I do not think the singers on it are better than the ones on Idol--some are, some aren't) but I'd love to see Adam come back to Idol to perform or mentor. He's one of their success stories and if there's one thing Idol can brag about that The Voice can't, it's success stories.

Chateau Mamot is 6 minutes from Adam's house. Staying???? Maybe the renovations continue. Or just dropping into the Chateau....bet they do not know how close he lives to the hotel. But what do I know . Nothing I really doubt Adam would schedule renov during the most crucial time of era 3! I just think since this girl was staying there, she assumed Adam was too. He was clubbing & was also at Hooray Henry's that night. It is possible that either that GQ stylist was staying there or even Tove Lo

He's one of their success stories and if there's one thing Idol can brag about that The Voice can't, it's success stories. It wasn't "seconds" though as in the one hour show. There was a substantial video package in between being called and performing. Borchetta has said in an interviews that Idols will be coming back to mentor. He loves Adam, has name checked him twice in reference to favorites. I am fully expecting Adam to mentor. I agree about announcing at the beginning. The producer has said when they get to around top 6, they will change the way they do the eliminations. My DH had a great idea! Announce the bottom 2 at the beginning! They sing first. Then the others perform. Announce the elimination at the end. They will have already sung for their lives too & it will make the judges deliberation for the save look more authentic!

Isn't that the hotel with the sound studio? Maybe he was there to voiceover or add a track? You're probably thinking of Sunset Marquis. As for Chateau Marmont, celebrities go there often, lots of private parties organised there, I would assume there's a restaurant and a bar so a bite to eat is a possibility etc. We have numerous pap pics and videos of Adam going in or coming out from there, attending to a party there or most often starting the night there and then moving on to another place. What makes them think he was actually staying there IDK, maybe at the front desk talking with the staff for whatever reason.

I like the 2 girls with the weird voices (Jax and Joey Cook) and the dancing dude (Qaasim Middleton) that can't sing. Jax gets good reviews and might win, if the producers don't sabotage her. I liked her last week when Harry didn't. Joey Cook was better last night. Seems like Scott Borchetta favors the very boring Clark Beckham. Worth watching, if you record the show and watch with your finger on the fast forward button.

Last week Quentin Alexander was called at the end as a wild card and then immediately had to sing. He was so overcome with emotion that he started crying at the end of his song. It's a lot of pressure for these kids!
