mmadamimadamm @mmadamimadamm 26m26 minutes ago RT @lovesummer22: Billboard - Tove Lo Debuts Talks 'Truth Serum' EP, Working With Adam Lambert www.billboard.com/articles/columns/pop-shop/5937719/tove-lo-debuts-talks-truth-serum-ep-working-with-adam-lambert … (Adam mention)"In the meantime, expect her songwriting to pop up on upcoming albums from Cher Lloyd, Girls Aloud and perhaps even Adam Lambert, who spent some time in the studio with Tove Lo recently. "He came to Sweden, he's been working with all the producers, the little collective out there, and having a really good time," Tove Lo says, declining to share further details on the newly label-free Lambert's next project. "When you hear the fully produced stuff from the studio, that's one thing, but his voice is insane. I couldn't believe it."
What is Tove Lo saying here? Was she hoping for a little less production laid over those vocals. Adam does not need that, his natural voice is more brilliant than any autotune sound, and he is so close to perfect, that he does not need any major clean up of his vocals. On the other hand, these production layers seem to erase the natural harmonies that mother nature has endowed Adam with. This sounds like Tove Lo is longing for the natural Adam voice just like we all do, but has heard the fully produced sound and ...oh well... was really hoping that with no Dr Luke we would get a little less production..... Adam recorded, from a live concert on youtube to fully produced stuff from the studio, is one thing. To hear Adam live is a whole other thing. That's the same thing we have been saying for years. I don't read anything else in that statement. I will join you in hoping that there will be a lot of voice and a lot of natural Adam on the record. And I would like to see that paired with a lot of superb production. It will be awesome, I'm sure of it!

I think she is saying that if you have heard Adam on a record (FYI, Trespassing, Avicii's True etc.), you have no idea how insane his voice is in person in the studio. I don't think she meant anything negative about TOH in particular. Just trying to compliment him on his unmiked power. I guess she had heard some of his tracks before they first met, and she was blown away by the live experience. But we already knew that

Check the date on this...... it is a year old, and was posted here nearly a year ago. What she would have heard from Adam prior to working with him on TOH would have been recorded music from his first two albums or something on TV or youtube vids. She was likely hearing his voice live for the first time.

Perhaps she just means that the raw vocals are amazing -- and cannot be recorded. We all know this already. I see nothing to fear in what she says. JMHO YMMV.

Create an ID that has the right demos -- 18 - 29 year old, female -- at your local station. Make sure it is disconnect from your real ID if you are not 18 -29. Yes, there are times when deception is noble. And do not make this a Twitter campaign -- shhhhhhhhhhhh!
