Why did he hear Adam's single? He isn't from radio. And besides, radio people in the UK heard the single a few weeks ago. Why did The Voice person hear it now? Is there something going on with Adam's single and The Voice UK?? Well, the Voice UK finale airs April 4, so I wouldn't count on this one. Not even a performance of the single by a contestant. Also, the Voice UK only does one season a year, unlike the US version. If Adam does do a big UK reality talent show, the most likely option would be Britain's Got Talent - the timing is just right. Each year, live shows air at the end of May. But the Voice runs on BBC One and Got Talent is on ITV. That doesn't have anything to do with a performance but perhaps more in knowing people who might have heard it and perhaps after QALs New Years maybe they would tie in to BBC1 for a big push? I wonder if some stations like BBC1 and Z100 might be allowed to have actual song copies in their little hands right now that they can test or show to friends?

Do you have to lie about age when signing up for Spotify? Do they even ask? they did ask, but I think that's because I signed up using my daughter's student information so I could get premium at half price. I don't know if they ask unless you want the ad free version as a student. Premium is $9.99 a month and honestly even without the student discount it's worth it if you like music as much as I do. If you have a limited interest I would just use the free version and with that I believe all they ask you for is an email address. I honestly don't think Spotify matters for age because it's a streaming site where all music listeners are equally important. The more people stream the more revenue they generate and if you have a premium account their advertisers aren't targeting you anyway because you don't get ads. Money is money to them. Spotify asks for age for two reasons -- 1. In the US, you have to be at least 13 years old. For users in the United States, the Spotify Service is not directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are under 13 years of age, do not use the Service and do not provide any personal information to us. If we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we will delete it.2. To personalize content, service offering and deliver ads. They have a plain English disclosure here: www.spotify.com/us/legal/privacy-policy/#childrenJMHO I am honest on Spotify about my age because there is no programming component. **** If you have been hesitant to check out the streaming music services, you should check them out. They are easy to use and give you on demand access to almost every song ever. It is the same as using an on demand cable TV service but via you computer, tablet or phone. Trust me it is easy and people here will help you if you run into any issues.

To be honest if their is one pop artist currently right now I would love Adam to collab with it is Lorde. She is edgy and different like Adam, think they would mesh well. And shes a kiwi! haha.

executive producer of the voice /UK I do not believe this is a random tweet. I think they are softly starting the buzz machine. First Z100 with Maxwell as the tweeter. Now this. But the part that makes me smile is that it appears this single must be HUGE and AWESOME with a great TEMPO and ADAM'S VOCALS AS GOOD AS EVER!!! I want to hear these accolades from radio PDs or whomever is responsible for radio playlists...hopefully we are seeing a slow buildup with industry insiders so they are ready to embrace TOH with open arms once the time comes.

Is there something going on with Adam's single and The Voice UK?? They could have played it for him from the States or a Warners Rep could have played it for him. More intriguing to me is your question --- is there something going on with Adam and The Voice UK? As the following tweets from March 13 & March 14 show, he was in the LA area this past week... twitter.com/TimVanRongen/status/576541470271746048twitter.com/TimVanRongen/status/576893844769259520

Ok, can you explain to me what is "lame" about it? I like it precisely because it makes sense. I don't see anything lame about it unless you are saying making sense is lame? I really am trying to understand, not being sarcastic. It looks extremely low budget to me....supermodel writhing around in her underwear seems totally gratuitous. But maybe I just don't get it. I asked myself the same question... what do I not get about that video? But then I read the comments on facebook and the vast majority of the peeps didn't get it either. I love beautiful women not wearing much in music videos, I really do - but it has to be tasteful in a way! Just take a look at "Chris Issac - Wicked Game" for example And the music video to "I'll be there" is just a boring and lame in-your-face-crotch... But to come back to Adam - I just can't wait for his video! I wasn't very much into the video to "NCOE" but I loved the videos to "BTIKM" and "FYE". Maybe Adam will be doing a sexy dance - in a classy way of course *sigh* Hey, a girl can dream !

first...thank you queenofthenight for weighing in with a more weighty explanation of my objections to the Chic video. I'm not adverse to oogling the female form...but put some thought behind it.
....I'm excited about the Voice UK guy's tweet. Perhaps we'll get a performance?...but must admit, I'm jaded by the fact we've been down this road before. How many UK dj's etc. sang the praises of Trespassing singles? Once burned, twice shy... or whatever the hell that expression is....
now if we get more American radio peeps like Maxwell from Z100 on board, I'll start to get less cynical.
(I know, I know....imma biatch...lol)

But maybe I just don't get it. ya...to ME it almost felt like a high school level video project rather than an accomplished professional art piece....it was too straight forward, simplistic and painfully outdated IMO... both video and music actually...may be I expected more than a pure disco throwback from Nile.... ETA: and everything queenofthenight said 8-) I could not agree with you more. It was probably meant to be some kind of homage to the gone past golden era of disco, but I found the video (and the music) as fresh as a TV dinner re-heated twice in a microwave oven.

I wonder if some stations like BBC1 and Z100 might be allowed to have actual song copies in their little hands right now that they can test or show to friends? I do not think anyone working at a radio station has a copy of it yet -- they seem to have this very tightly locked down. Last week they were playing it for radio station personnel in the US. They usually service a single to radio 2 weeks before the impact date, about 1 week before the on sale date. So too soon for people to have it. If anyone has it, my money is that she/he/they are at iHeartMusic corporate programming. Seems like they have something going on with iHM. > I would be very, very surprised if Adam did his debut performance of the single on a UK TV Show. > I would not be surprised if it was some brand tie-in -- vs a TV event or show. *** Regarding timing...the first live performance could be around or before the song is released OR if they think it is a monster hit....timing could look like this: Single is released on sale and streaming April 6, 2015. A few radio stations would be "asked" to play it before the impact date. Radio impact date of April 20, 2015 (when the label wants it played) Music Video released after radio impact date. First live performance could be in mid- to late May. **** Adam would be doing promo like interview with Ryan Seacrest etc. and then play the single on the radio.
