Oh Yeah!!!!
The song itself opens with a dramatic guitar strums that will inevitably be compared to Avicii’s Hey Brother. “I tried to believe in Elvis and James Dean but Hollywood sold out” he sings, before the whole things drops away and morphs into a chorus that is short on lyrics but big on hooks. “Now I know my heart is a Ghost Town” he declares over a spacious house beat and – crucially - a ludicrously catchy whistle that immediately lodges itself in the brain
The whole thing continues to grow from there. Adam’s vocal and Max’s carefully layered production build up towards a climatic middle 8 that results in an explosion of whistles, guitars and stabbing synths on the finale.

(It was a little bit of a shock to go from Adam's pic to Keith and Mick's. That headline was not too kind of The Daily Mail, to say the least! , but many posters had their backs and pointed out that they sounded great. :/ )

EEEEEEE!!!! I think that is a very, very exciting review there! Yes, it certainly is. The reviewer feels that Max Martin has broken new ground with this track - I've seen a couple of industry people allude to this now, bodes well I think.

EEEEEEE!!!! I think that is a very, very exciting review there! GREAT REVIEW PEOPLE!!!! "So what does it sound like? After one play we only wrote one word in our notes: ‘BONKERS’. When it comes to pop music, this is usually a good thing. Fortunately we were allowed to listen to it again. “Now I know my heart is a Ghost Town” he declares over a spacious house beat and – crucially - a ludicrously catchy whistle that immediately lodges itself in the brain. "
ALL OF THIS MAKES ME HAPPY! (except for Hey Brother part to be honest)

So intriguing! He is going to surprise all of us!
"Ghost Town is as much a departure for Max than it is for Adam."

Nice to see a a very positive full review, but because it is poorly written, we, the reader don't know if it "is as much of a departure for Martin as it is for Lambert" or "more of a departure for Martin than it is for Lambert". LOL ........ I'll take it flaws and all. ETA: LMAO....... well the writer has now corrected this to 'as much as' for both!
