ThatGrapeJuice (Sam) @thatgrapejuice · 3m3 minutes ago ‘Ghost Town': Adam Lambert To Release Epic New Single From New Album ‘The Original High’: Adam Lambert is no s... bit.ly/1CC5zp4
Adam Lambert is no stranger to breaking new ground.
Standing proud as the first openly gay artist to top the Billboard 200, the ‘American Idol’ has seen his career do just that since he rose to fame on the wings of the singing competition.
This year, after stepping into Freddie Mercury’s shoes to pen the latest chapter in Queen’s story, Lambert continues to do more of the same with his new single ‘Ghost Town’, the bop pulled from his forthcoming album ‘The Original High.’
Two words to describe this Max Martin produced jam?
A hit.
The number is set to premiere on April 21st and when it does fans will hear the star fuse Folk with EDM to create what we’d say is his strongest single to date, armed with the kind of bells and whistles that’ll see him strike big on the Hot 100.
Fortunately, this is no generic jam, seeing the performer deal with the perils of fame with lyrics just as soulful as the voice that carries them.
Will you love it as much as we do when it drops on April 21st?

Aaaaahhhh! I am close to bursting with excitement!! I just LOVE surprises and boy, is he going to surprise us. Anyone fancy getting a plane over here and get awfully drunk with me (or high, whichever you prefer) while raving over the few snippets we have, speculating on the meaning of the lyrics, the general direction of the album and music, making a fool of ourselves gushing over Adam while jumping up and down with every new glowing review that is published??? Because I just NEED someone to spill to that won't eyeroll me because I am insanely excited over one new song that will be here in just a week time. Nic, I am so excited about the descriptions of this song & the raves, i am close to tears! Happy tears!!

I just heard a young woman using the term "ghosting". Of course, I immediately thought of Ghost Town -- no surprise there!
Anyhow, Urban Dictionary says: Ghosting is the act of suddenly ceasing all communication with someone the subject is dating, but no longer wishes to date. This is done in hopes that the ghostee will just "get the hint" and leave the subject alone, as opposed to the subject simply telling them he/she is no longer interested. Ghosting is not specific to a certain gender and is closely related to the subject's maturity and communication skills. Many attempt to justify ghosting as a way to cease dating the ghostee without hurting their feelings, but it in fact proves the subject is thinking more of themselves, as ghosting often creates more confusion for the ghostee than if the subject kindly stated how he/she feels. Carmen: How was your second date with Kyle? Beth: I thought it went well, but I've texted him a couple of times since then and he's been ghosting me. Carmen: What? I thought he was more mature than that.

Goodness.....at about 3.40 he talks about a new song from Hilary Duff, co-written by Tove Lo, that has a ' whistle hook'. Are they all whistling this summer?
