Question: Will Adam get a separate mainstream date. I don't care for 90% of what is played on rhythmic stations, so I pretend they don't exist. ☺ I'm guessing the term crossover means it applies to both.

Oh my! Here is a bit of interesting news - Frank Ocean and Adam are releasing album #3 this summer. Comparisons are inevitable!
After the success of his Channel Orange album in 2012, Frank Ocean will return in July with both a new album and a magazine. On Monday (April 6), Ocean posted to his Tumblr account a photo of himself looking down at two stacks of magazines called Boys Don't Cry, and he wrote, "I got two versions. I got twoooo versions." He also included the hashtags #ISSUE1 #ALBUM3 #JULY2015 #BOYSDONTCRY. A rep for Ocean confirmed to Billboard that a new album and his own publication are due in July, and while the magazine is titled Boys Don't Cry, the album name has yet to be revealed. (Billboard)
>> Note; In case you were wondering how this is Frank Ocean's #3 album -- he self-released a very successful mix tape (digital release) in 2011 -- it sold about > 770K units in the US and he counts that as album #1.

I believe that list is for what you are calling "mainstream." It's called contemporary hits radio (CHR). They play a few styles including "rhythm crossover," which Adam's is classified as and "mainstream."

That means that they will be pushing GT to Rhymic and Mainstream Pop stations. It is a very good thing. Plus we have tweets from some HAC stations. Looks like they are going for 3 formats -- they must really think this is a big hit. There is no doubt they are going to push this in mainstream pop -- Z100 is the #1 mainstream pop station in the US has been lead on this one. We also have positive tweets from other mainstream pop stations like Q102 Philly (CHR/MTop 40) and some HAC stations like Click 98.9 Seattle. I am pretty sure that we will not have trouble hearing Ghost Town in a few weeks -- on broadcast radio in the US!!

I think I understand. Mainstream and rhythmic are considered "subcategories" of CHR. My confusion was over the fact that there is a Top 40 AND a Rhythmic chart. I my mind, if there are 2 charts, there should be 2 dates.

For example the Alyxx Dione f/Jason Derulo song is on both lists.
