Official Charts @officialcharts .@adamlambert talks "darker, bittersweet" new album #TheOriginalHigh goo.gl/nWZRQQ15 April 2015 Adam Lambert talks "darker, bittersweet" new album The Original HighThe singer reveals he wants to help people "face their s**t" with his new album. By Rob Copsey Adam Lambert has opened up about his new album The Original High. The former American Idol star said he wanted to help people "face their s**t" with his new collection, which is due out later this year. "[The album is] dance-y but bittersweet, and the lyrics are a little darker [than they have been, previously]," he told Notion Magazine. Adam Lambert in the new issue of Notion Magazine "I've done the more bubblegum stuff, I've done the camp stuff, and now I want to encourage people to face their shit. I want to show them the part of me that's not all polished or [still part of] the 'pageant on TV' thing – I want it to be real, you know?” On approaching his third studio album, he explained: "The music industry is so crazy, competitive and focused, and after the Trespassing album I kind of had to stop and ask myself 'why am I doing this? What do I want? Who am I? What am I about?' and just re-examine at everything. "I finally became more grounded about all of the fame stuff; it's not freaking me out anymore." Lambert premieres his new single Ghost Town on April 21. Read our first listen review of the track.

But please post these technologies issues in this service issues thread: adamtopia.com/thread/38/ideas-suggestions-adamtopia-service-issues?page=2&scrollTo=606096 This thread is for Adam news discussion and I an likely to miss them here. If you are having problems with this site loading, like described above, it is a local problem -- meaning your device or your internet connection. If you have having problems seeing pi embedded tweets, that should be resolved in the next day or two thanks to some excellent ninja work by Jablea Q3.

Q3 or anyone, since record companies are not allowed to use actual $$ to pay radio stations to play music, what would a current "deal" look like. Q3 was saying there is obviously a deal involved with the radio promo that's going on (not organic). I recall that an artist performance at a Jingle Ball or other event is common. What else do radio stations get in a deal? They can offer special, early or exclusive access to an artist, or another artist on the label. (Content = audience = money) We have already seen Adam doing interviews with one iHR station (Z100). We know other stations have interviews. I expect to see some kind of iHR Adam private concert. Something with Ryan Seacrest. They can put together sweepstakes and contests, provide prizes for radio stations. They can put together radio station showcase concerts/on air. They can do a lot with online promotions. They can buy advertising on the radio stations' websites or on iHR, Totally not connected. They can do anything EXCEPT pay for playing the song. *** Setting that aside -- the most powerful deal is to have a great song from a hot artist -- and get it first in market. I think that some CC stations are going to get to play it on the night of the 20th. *** New songs are always hyped before release -- Joe Blow's news song is his best ever! Just heard Sally D's new song, can't wait to play it for you. Etc. Something about the GT tweets feels a bit more real to me, but this is clearly a well-orchestrated, carefully managed promotion. And Clear Channel/iHR is the center of everything we are seeing in the US. So far every station I recognize that has tweeted about GT is Clear Channel but I easily could have missed a non-CC channel.
