Can somebody tell me what "Hints of Robyn and Erasure abound" means?? Look up Robyn 'Eclipse'. Way back - - six years ago, Adam mentioned that one of the songs he was listening to - one that spoke to him - was 'Eclipse' by Robyn. I'm over the moon if his mood, his music, this era, has traces of this . . .

This is beyond the shallow end, but I have a "thing" for his lower lip. The eyes - yes, the nose - yes, but his lower lip has more sex appeal --- must be the "mood" it suggests........ You are me.

Yes - he really is out there. Just as Brian May said. Tonight is his Christmas Eve; his 16th birthday; his April 21, 2015; another induction into life. I think he knows us pretty well! We trended his #TheOriginalHigh just hours ago; followed his lead unconditionally. He has faith in us; we have faith in him - - - there's the infinity. I wish for him to know that no matter what happens with this 'pop record' it's his excellence that brings the moths to the flame. I gave away my sixteenth year long ago and will never be part of the demographic shit that counts. But I will always be part of those who matter. In tears - but this is not the first time you have brought me to tears. Thank you for your eloquence. This is his Christmas Eve. This is everything.

Note that the YouTube description includes a link to an audio download in m4a format!! I assume that is Tommy playing guitar on this remix since he is credited with additional guitars for this song on the album. I did the guitar, but this isn't actually anybody 'playing' it - I'm not a guitar player myself, but with a good sampler software and hundreds of pre-recorded samples available, nothing's impossible! heh Wow! Please please post all the Adam Lambert songs you have done. I think I may have missed some. These were the other ones! www.youtube.com/watch?v=ir63QErl58wwww.youtube.com/watch?v=BTlICaVqehYwww.youtube.com/watch?v=WggwD655iFETHANKS! I love your remixes! The Trespassing remix has a download link, but when clicked on it says "File does not exist on this server". Are your older remixes available for download somewhere else? ETA - I see you already answered this in a reply to Cassie while my post was on hold so I could feed my begging cat.

Lucas, those remixes showcase Adam's raw voice that many of us have wanted to hear FOREVER! Thank you. You are a real talent. I used to edit vids and I know how time-consuming these remixes must be. Labors of love...

I hope for pauses in the music.
Maybe it won't happen in GhostTown . . . but I hope for those small moments when his voice leads into silence, and I can be silent, too.

I am betting that he does that in "Ghost Town" when he performs it live. On the recorded version, I do not expect it. This may or may not be turn but there is a post that Adam turned down Hedwig. I think we knew that before. Didn't someone suggest that to the producer or director or something and was told they had approached him several times? But he was too busy? Am I imagining I read that? ETA: Never mind. Bama already had that one! I recalled the prior comments. But all three are second hand reports -- no one involved with the production nor Adam has ever confirmed these reports to the press or tweeted about it directly.

Can somebody tell me what "Hints of Robyn and Erasure abound" means?? Shirley provided comparison in her description of the album -- and both artists are European synthpop artists who produce very clean synthpop. Robyn is a Swedish recording artist. robyn.com/Erasure are an English synthpop duo. www.erasureinfo.com/ The comparison is interesting and encouraging. *** When I deconstruct this one sentence from Shirley's description, my head starts to spin: "Indeed, an early listen to several tracks on the album reveals the duo's penchant for pop wizardry, especially on songs like the mid-tempo "Ghost Town," which nods to 1. Katy Perry and 2. Kiesza in its use of 90s synth, and fellow 3. Swedes Peter Bjorn and John in its embrace of the whistle as hook." 1. Katy Perry is pretty much pure modern pop. 2. Kiesza is deep house. 3. Peter Bjorn and John (I had to Google to listen to) are Indie pop, neo-psychedelic with some rock elements. She refers to it as a mid-tempo song -- I had the impression it transitioned into an up tempo dance track -- maybe shifting from 90ish BPM to 120 BPM. ?
