Slap my hand if you want, but I wanted to point out that 6,000 views in 1/2 an hour is 12,000 views per hour which is greater that the average-ish 7,000 views per hour yesterday. My emotional brain couldn't stop my math brain from commenting. :-[ Yes, that would be 12,000 per hour. I never did average the whole day yesterday. I meant to do it at midnight, but I feel asleep. I mostly averaged 2 hour time periods. The low was about 6,000 and the high was 12,000 per hour from 7-9 PM. After the jump to 900,538 at 9:30 this morning, it's only increased by 11 views to 900,549 by 10:20. Those jumps are the reason I decided to average 2 hours at a time instead of 1. Good thinking and consider my hand slapped. :D

I am hoping that "Ghost Town" stays in the iTunes Top 200 until Tuesday's impact date. It has been bobbing around the bottom on the main chart. > Note: The markets at the top of this chart are ones will very low iTunes sales numbers. Fan buying has a huge impact in these streaming media dominated markets. The 5 markets that matter most for Adam sales are US, UK (not released), Germany, Japan and Canada. Two are still in the Top 200. Ghost Town#2 Finland #4 Belarus #10 Sweden #19 Singapore #25 Malaysia #30 Norway #30 South Africa #34 Denmark #35 Vietnam #43 Hong Kong #61 Indonesia #65 Austria #74 Germany#90 United Arab Emirates #91 Thailand #97 Russia #133 Netherlands #143 Australia #149 Bulgaria #149 Taiwan #191 New Zealand #196 United States
The album presale on iTunes is still doing pretty well and many, many fans are waiting for release week to buy. The rank change in the past 24 hours is in parenthesis. Album: The Original High#13 Finland (+2) #35 Bulgaria (-16) #53 South Africa (-1) #61 Belarus (-24) #77 Brunei Darussalam (-20) #86 Vietnam (-25) #99 United States (-13)#103 Singapore #122 Ukraine #126 Malaysia #151 Canada (+1)#154 Latvia #159 Romania #167 Philippines (+10) #170 Slovenia #193 Russia (-87)

We were just talking about different things and I was sounding like an idiot. And my e's tend to get away from me. I fell asleep, not feel. Another and, averaging 1 thing isn't particularly helpful. I meant to say I was averaging 2 hours instead of looking at the count in 1 hour intervals.

One way to look at what is happening is to look at the trend line over the past 24 hours. That eliminates the noise. Averaging over 2 hours would take care of a lot of the variance. The other factor to look at is time of day. **** I believe (and this is based on info some YouTube experts) that the small updates are happening when they removing spamming. It happens about 1 time an hour. If you play it on repeat or from a playlist of just Ghost Town, most if not all of the plays are removed. YT starts doing this once a video hits some biggish number -- which may be 100,000.

HITZOUND @hitzound_nl · @adamlambert Congratulations @adamlambert! GHOST TOWN is the brand new Song of the Week at Dutch radio @roulettefm hit-zound.nl/index.php/2-hitzound-blog/3660-schijven-overzicht-week-17Sadly a local station around "De Bilt". Local stations here are very local by the way. The Netherlands isn't that big. No sign of Ghost Town being picked up by the major stations yet. Although it got played once at Q-music in their whistle top 40 at 6.14AM local time.

Me too - he's just so naturally likeable, down-to-earth and witty. And that "turkey burrito" part is my favorite :DD Just read the interview and loved it! I love how open he is, and how down to earth, how funny and has always an answer ready. and I like the name for his car. I had to laugh, cause i have a name for my car as well (it's George). NIce to see more people do that ;o)

I couldn't get this post to show even after refreshing so I figured I'd quote it to see if it would show up then. Nope, turned on BBcode to get the url for the tweet so I'm including it to see if it shows up now. At least I hope this is the one you were quoting. I had to just search his twitter page for something related to Adam.

I couldn't fine out if 3FM played it more unfortunately
