Well -
I have a little bit of 'a critic's choice' . . . the critic being my DH . . . he's been around since 2009 and I think he's pretty staid - unlike me.
Tonite we played dominoes while listening to the four tracks.
He is familiar with Ghost Town, and likes it; especially likes the video - says the black & white artistry is pure. He is an artist, himself - and was taken with the black & white imagery; the beauty of the subjects - including Adam.
Said 'Underground' would appeal most to the people who Adam appeals most to.
Listened intently to the words of 'Another Lonely Night' - didn't say a thing about the 'moo' . . . didn't even phase him.
IMMEDIATELY thought, when hearing "Evil In the Night" . . . 'This is the song!' . . . said this is the one that will appeal to everyone. He spoke in words I didn't know he had! Talked about listeners and demographics and beats and stuff I didn't know he'd sheltered in his arsenal of wonderful yearning and expression.
Well - - - while I listen to these four tracks over and over; and love them all; already memorized . . . my favorite isn't here. It's the few bars I've heard of 'The Original High' . . .
My excitement is almost excruciating. I'm feeling the memories of lonely nights and longing - and I don't give a fuck if the sun comes up!
