https%3A//soundcloud.com/primediabroadcasting/rob-chats-to-adam-lambert Sometimes I think Adam has a future in politics. He is a master at the non-answer. Listen to his response to the question about recording with Queen. He doesn't answer it at all, but launches into one of his memes about how great it was to perform with Queen. He also never says what the marriage equality ruling means to him personally. Or answers a question about vocal technique on ALN. (He frequently steers conversation away from the topic of his vocal technique. Perhaps he is like a magician who won't discuss the secrets of his tricks.) HIs answers are articulate, interesting, and totally off point. Something I frequently hear from politicians. That man definitely DOES have a filter, when he wants to.

I'd be interested in knowing how much he currently works on his voice and vocal techniques, whether he still works with a coach, whether he's been actually working on strengthening his lower register or just relying on age to change it.

I was thinking just the same, particularly when he was so noncommittal on the Kanye issue. If he didn't start out with a filter, he's definitely developed one as you say, Cassie!

Adam has definitely become a master at controlling an interview. When he wants to answer specifically and in-depth, he does. But if he wants to skirt around the question, he does that very skillfully. I think the interviewer wanted Adam to be a little more snarky about the Kanye performance, but chose not to. Just slid right past it. Guess he figured it was not in his best interest to pile on more negatives. Adam doesn't shy away from using sophisticated vocabulary or from sounded like an educated person. He can be silly and goofy with the best of them, but he never dumbs himself down. It's one of the many things I love about him.

Cassie, in that interview from SA, he also used the words euphoric and baroque.
