They both had GT as the 1st single. Which song on the TOH album could be Adam's bitch song? I'm serious about this. I think maybe the second single needs to be a dramatic statement about who he is. There I Said It could be the song, an LGBT anthem. Nicki MinajPublished on Jun 18, 2015 35,685,855 Views Ok I'm officially old because the whole bitch this (madonnas) bitch that (Rhiana) at the moment is irking me - it's not hip or cool it's just tacky and cheap ... Lol, didn't mean to offend. The quality of Madonna's song is not relevant. (Maybe it's typical Madonna. Reminds me of Kei$ha.) I'm only talking about it's relative success. I'm using the word bitch as in "To dominate an opponent in competition" (Urban Dictionary) and to tie to the M song. You can call my use of the word bitch tacky and cheap, if you like. I've read that some don't like the lyric grown-ass man. I think it fits, in the context of the song.

YAY.,,WOW Just saw where ANOTHER LONELY NIGHT is trending. I love that song, sorta R&B vibe, but with the driving beat over Adam's stellar vocals, the perfect breakup, heartbreak, raw emotional delivery type of song. Maybe this could be the breakout TOH needs. ALN trending where, please? Maybe it was here: feral @feraltwirler 7h7 hours ago OMG! #5 now #NP @adamlambert's Another Lonely Night - currently at number 5 on @billboard @twitter Trending 140 chart realtime.billboard.com/positionlink/?

I grew up in Louisiana and all the oil riggers shopped at Avon. The original Skin So Soft bath oil (not the product advertised as bug repellent) was what all the oil field workers swore by. I had a friend who sold Avon and made a fortune off of selling to men. We used to also use it as flea repellent on dogs. It was a bit tricky and a little on the oily side. You have to mix using hot water initially but about a teaspoon in a 16 oz. spray bottle and misted over the dog made a great flea repellent. The downside was that is was a little oily so if you didn't get the mixture just right your dog ended up a bit greasy. Thankyou. So it seems to get rid of them, I have to cover myself in a sticky mess. The best thing that used to work for me was Vicks vaporub, but it's not very practical. I was bitten less, but it is very sticky, and I'd go thru a tub every 3 or 4 days. And it stinks too, I remember a few times having to apologise at dinner parties because all anyone could smell was me. Also I was concerned about the petroleum in the product. I'm usually a user of natural products .... I don't know if they have Avon here...I'll have to check it out.

Somebody PLEASE tell me what works against the mozzies? They ARE out in force this year. Having frogs in the pond seemed to help last year. This year, nothing works. I am being eaten alive. We have les tigres, the tropical mosquito, here as well, so they bite all day and night, no let up. I've always been very popular with the mozzies, but even my bf is getting attacked, and they normally ignore him. Here in US there's something that actually clips to your clothing. Like your own personal repellent. Avon had a product people used to use. Oh, thankyou. I've used many clips and ankle and wrist bands, and sprays with citronella and various products in them. I woke up to bites all around the bands, like the mozzies were making a point... Any idea if the clip was any good? It seems to be bitten less, I must cover myself in goo so I would prefer a less messy alternative....but I guess I'll try anything....

On people it's no worse than putting on sunscreen as it absorbs into your skin and it doesn't smell like insect repellent. It's just on dogs since they are covered with hair/fur it makes them greasy if you don't get the proportions right.

Mosquito repellent discussion on Adam daily news. Do we really have NO pictures of Adam enjoying the Independence Day celebrations? NO new interviews? Sigh. It reminds me of our threads discussing how to fold fitted sheets. Or how to harvest bull semen.
Don't want to be a spoilsport and cut short such an educational discussion topic, especially on a slow day, but.... I cannot see any way to connect the dots (from mosquito bites?) to Adam News. Let's see if we can't find something at least remotely relevant.
Oh, and BTW, Avon's Skin So Soft doesn't work as a repellent. I know from personal experience, and tests have shown it.
See, even as a mod, I get dragged into the off-topic discussion. I must be BORED this morning.

Ah, ok, better....I thought it'd be like the vaporub which did leave me a bit greasy. Sorry, Cassie, I can't top harvesting bull semen, really......

TALCvids @talcvids 2h2 hours ago Queen + Adam Lambert: "sellout tour,which has been running since 2012,contributed £16.6million of the £48.5million" www.dailyrecord.co.uk/entertainment/freddie-mercury-died-more-23-6002507#ICID=sharebar_twitter …
Freddie Mercury died more than 23 years ago - but Queen prove they are still champion earners pulling in£48millio last year
00:01, 5 JULY 2015 BY JANINE YAQOOB
THE rockers' company, Queen Productions, raked in more than £132,000 per day in 2014.
Adam Lambert with Brian May and Roger Taylor of Queen
IT has been more than 23 years since Freddie Mercury’s death, but Queen are still coining it in.
The 70s and 80s idols have more than doubled their earnings in a year – going from less than £22million in 2013 to £48.5million last year.
Their company, Queen Productions, raked in more than £132,000 per day in 2014.
Queen’s sellout tour, which has been running since 2012, contributed £16.6million of the £48.5million total.
And another £4.1million came from box office takings for the band’s musical We Will Rock You, which finally ended its run in London’s west end in May last year with guitarist Brian May and drummer Roger Taylor playing on stage.
Accounts filed with Companies House show that May, 67, Taylor, 65, and retired bass player John Deacon, 63, earned £607,525 each last year in directors’ pay and royalties.
On top of that May took home £1.17million in dividends. Taylor got £1,146,500 and Deacon £1,295,400.
Freddie died in 1991 of an AIDS-related illness and his estate has an equal share in Queen Productions.
May and Taylor tour as Queen, with former American Idol runner-up Adam Lambert as lead singer.
