When I first saw the tux, I thought it was really cut way out in the front. Now I see that it is difficult to see the lapels and the cumberbund because of the black shirt under it. He's looking good...

I just watched the vids, and Adam is in fine form and has never looked better! But, I have a question, and forgive me if this has been asked and answered before and I've missed it. A couple of months ago, Adam's new band was announced, and I assumed they would be backing him up at all his performances (although of course they are also using pre-recorded tracks to provide some of the backup). But I'm seeing different faces behind him. Did some of the band members change while I wasn't paying attention, or is he just using different backup depending on the location?

Hearing Brian say that "it is possible" in reply to a question about Queen recording with Adam is music to my ears! Of course Adam won't have the time for a year or two, but... hoping! *Fingers crossed*

When did you sneak onto the forum, sherziecanuck? I must have missed it. Welcome! I think that Adam just picks up session players when he needs them for a performance. It would be economically foolish to keep a band on retainer for the occasional performances of just a song or two (or in this case five). Especially when the song is mainly backing tracks, like GT. A good pro could listen to the recorded track a few times, and then play it, no problem.

I am not sure he has a "permanent" band atm... it seems he hires "locals" ...I might be wrong of course...

It is confusing but the answer is he has a backing band and he is using local musicians for many performances rather than his backing band. Which he uses is based on the occasion/budget and presumably the setlist. This approach is appropriate for the 5 songs he played last night which are heavily dependent on backing tracks.

I think he's doing the prudent thing right now and using professional session musicians while he's doing these one-offs and promo performances. But WHEN there is a tour, there will certainly be a permanent band in place. Notice the WHEN!

I think we will see his backing band at Morogo on Saturday. *** So nice that so many Adam fans and ATop members got to see Adam perform 5 songs last night. It was not clear what he was going to do.

Good morning. I was pleasantly surprised to see Adam sing 5 songs. I thought at something like this maybe he'd just close the show with one song GT. Happy for all the Atopers and Adam fans that were there!
