Thanks to everyone who responded. In that DonorsChoose.org Live Chat interview from early 2010, Adam talks about setting up a fan club, and getting his mother to run it. I take it that never happened? No, but there is an official fan club. Do you have that link? adamlambertfans.com/I think it is $9.99 a year and worth it for the concert presales, IMO! And if he has M&Gs for his solo tour, they are purchased there. Cheers

Strangest thing just happened. And all my training as an Adam fan just paid off! Last night I watched a Showtime special about Elvis Costello. I am a big fan but have not seen him live for years. I said to my husband that I would love to see him in concert and to let me know if he ever has a concert near us -- Cleveland, Pittsburgh, Columbus area. About 30 minutes ago, he told me that he just saw that Elvis Costello is playing tonight at Blossom Music Center -- which is the amazing amphitheater 15 minutes from our home. He said, too bad because it is sold out and we can't get tickets. But, being an Adam fan, I know it is always possible to get tickets. I immediately search the three best broker site, found 5th row center seat for a reasonable price, and we are off to see Elvis Costello in a couple of hours!! I have used broker sites pre-Adam but I was never so expert, so fast and I certainly did not have accounts on all the major sites! Just curious -- which do you consider to be the 3 best broker sites? I've only used Stubhub to buy resale tickets, and had good results with them, but some of the other sites look a little sketchy. What are the ones that you would recommend? Thanks! This is just for the US. And I always try to get tickets from Ticketmaster first. For the past year, I have had the best luck with Vivid Seats (but only for Instant Downloads, they charge $14.95 or so for delivery). I usually check StubHub, Vivid Seats and TicketLiquidator. And I always check EBay and Ticketmaster Resale just to be sure. But I just got lucky on these tickets. They just popped up, nothing else like they anywhere.

So no QAL rehearsals in the UK. interesting...I guess they are comfortable enough to just do a couple of rehearsals (I suppose) in SA where the equipment will be...so, that means Adam will be in the UK for his own promo - which is AWESOME!

So no QAL rehearsals in the UK. That must mean they are rehearsing in South America. Queen always has rehearsals.

temporary avi change for the day - just had to do it. Adam is in bed with Hicklin - stranger things - I guess. I wouldn't mind sitting in bed with Adam just having a nice leisurely . . . . . . chat - . Looks like there will be a whirlwind of stuff coming out of OZ and once again my day is jammed with some things that will keep me out and about. Will probably get to check in around midnight. Oh well, sleep is overrated.

Yes, I always check Ticketmaster first, too. I've also sold tickets on Ticketmaster, which is an easy process. Thanks for the other suggestions -- I'll keep those in mind.

Shipping time for the equipment is likely a big factor with not rehearsing in england like the did before. My guess is they send the gear and the techs over well ahead of time. It gets set up and tested. Then they join and rehearse. If something gets lost or doesn't work there is time to scramble and get it corrected.
