That article totally exaggerated the passing comment about Ricky and how Adam handled it! IMO, this was one of the best interviews of the day! Katie mentioned Ricky too! And don't hetero single celebs get shipped ALL THE TIME!! Headbanger1i Has the link to this podcast been posted? (the one with Jackie O?) I missed it. ETA: Just found this but nothing with Adam at this point.

I haven't heard last night's performances but apparently rather than do the falsetto in the TOH chorus he took it down an octave. It was at Morongo that his falsetto on the TOH videos sounded a bit weak and (to my ear) flat on at least one instance. Ahhhhhhh, but in person TOH was FABULOUS!!! Audio recorded with crappy equipment and compressed for streaming can really sound different that the live sound. What sounded really good live can sound really bad recorded with low quality equipment. Conversely, sometimes when the band sounds "richer" in a video recording, it may be that the recording equipment is not distorting or dropping out certain frequencies that were a problem in other recordings. For example, lower quality equipment is notorious for making the low frequency bass sound muted. The quality of the electronics used to convert the instrumental and/or vocal signals into a sound projected through the speakers can make the audio sound better or worse at one event compared to another. And even the skill of the person handling the electronics can play a big part in the sound. Environmental conditions such as weather, temperature, humidity, and outdoor and indoor venue acoustics can also affect the live sound and recorded audio in big ways. So it's just really hard to make accurate judgements about the vocal and/or instrumental quality based on fan recordings.

OT - mods please delete if too OT. I'm just back home from Pride Parade here in Jerusalem. It was the craziest thing (not in a good way): 10 years ago an Orthodox Jew had stabbed someone during the Parade. 3 weeks ago he was released from jail, and today he stabbed 6 (six!) people in the parade before getting caught. 2 of them are in critical condition. He never concealed his views, and no one understand how he hadn't been monitored, especially during pride. When i heard it i was so horrified. I hope that that the victims all recover very soon and that everyone at that Gaypride recover soon from this horrific thing. I hope that everyone who have a big heart for the Gay pride feel even stronger to show their support
