Just an FYI: Monday Night Football average 2015 ratings --- 8.6 US household rating and 13,915,000 viewers -- skews male, on ESPN. That is a big placement for Adam. Just curious.. does the song have an impact on non-fans when it's just a snippet played in the background? I wondered the same... It couldn't have been more than about 8 seconds...

Yes, research indicates it has a cumulative effect -- similar to radio repetition and in-store. Sports usage is how many Queen songs became known worldwide by people who were born after 1980 and have no idea who Queen is. Works best with really simple songs like WWRY.
