QUEEN AND ADAM LAMBERT IN CHILE SHOW THAT THE ROCK NEVER DIES 01/10/2015 (04:56)
Christopher Chavez Bravo
- God save the queen. The British group Queen and the young singer Adam Lambert sat lecture Wednesday night in front of over 20,000 spectators in Santiago and showed why the rock never dies.
Ten hours before they opened the doors of the National Government, fans of the band lined up at the main sports stadium Chile.
"Queen Play 39 ', said one of the paintings a follower of the British holding, the message refers to the classic song composed by astrophysicist and guitarist, Brian May, the album" A Night at the Opera " .
And with a punctuality is appreciated in the cold night santiaguina appeared on stage Brian May (guitar), Roger Taylor (drums) and John Deacon (bass).
Alongside them, Adam Lambert, manager of replacing the legendary Freddie Mercury, revolutionized the stands with "One Vision", "Another One Bites the Dust" and "Fat Bottomed Girls", the first song of the show.
Lambert was discovered by Queen in 2009 when the singer was involved in the television talent show "American Idol." In view of the results, the decision proves correct: the vocal Lambert, who at times resembles Mercury for his impeccable pitch changes, forms a perfect communion with the band.
May, one of the most influential guitarists in contemporary music, he showed that the years pass him in vain. His guitar solos and perfect executions show that the doctor also does not lose quality astrophysics.
"Do not Stop Them Now" is the name of the tour that brought Queen to South America; name paraphrases one of the biggest hits of the band, and recently qualified, according to a study by the University of Groningen, as the world happy song, "Do not Stop Me Now".
That joy is what helps the band to connect with an audience that climaxed when the British interpreted "Radio Gaga" in the midst of collective complacency, manifested with choruses and clapping.
Unlike Queen's last visit to Chile in 2008, when Paul Rodgers, the former singer of Free and Bad Company groups, took the place of Mercury, this 2015 included only the English greatest hits from his repertoire, such as "We Will Rock You "," Bohemian Rhapsody "and" Somebody to Love"
Lambert wore a typical Chilean mantle in the middle of the presentation, and constantly interacted with the audience showing how charismatic he is. Not only his voice that is reminiscent of Mercury.
But he also added features other musicians, such as paraphernalia and staging of George Michael and leather jackets Rob Halford, vocalist of Judas Priest, both also British.
Queen made history thanks to their union as a band, and that was demonstrated in Chile to exchange vocalists on some songs, recalling the screens Mercury and keeping smiling all the presentation, something that often happens in more musicians 65.
In this concert, Lambert made it clear that does not come to replace Freddie Mercury, it seeks to contribute with their own talent and quality.
"A theatrical Elvis" or "A gift of God," is what the press have pointed May and Tylor on exparticipante of American Idol, which at 33 strokes a promising career.
The history between Chile and the British band, who lived a glorious chapter today, dates back to 1985, when the dictatorship tried to play the Queen southern country.
But Augusto Pinochet prevented from landing because hairstyles Brian May and the video for "I Want to Break Free", where some appear dressed woman seemed "unsuitable".
Although the overall prevented Mercury knew Chile, the concert tonight will leave the memory of Queen among fans, including the original singer and his replacement.
This was the last stop on the tour. After touring Europe and Latin musicians they come home, but keeping the motto of the band and one of his hymns: that much longer "God Save the Queen".

Great concert.....amazing SA concert tour!! I know I'll wake up tomorrow with the mind set of getting ready for their next concert...but there won't be one and I'll be very sad. QAL have such a special bond...I don't want it to end. Hopefully they will surprise us with doing more things together. And then I'll think about all Adam will be doing in his solo career when he gets back home and I feel excited and ready for more!! So glad I follow this remarkable man's career. I feel lucky! Well....I'll look for more vids in the morning! Good night!
