To be fair they are prob targeting the masses, not just core fans. Most would recognise Adam from Idol, just the way it is. Ignorance yes, but most journalism is haha.

So what is Adam talking about here? Clearly he is getting ready for the 'shower scene' photo... but he is talking about something happening at this house. Cannot quite make out what he is saying, except the swear word, that comes through quite clearly, lol. Could it be, that the shower photo links somehow to a wider story? Potentially, something to do with the music video? As in, the zebra photo shoot and its shower picture will somehow make sense in the context of this whole upcoming ALN promotion? Building anticipation and media excitement by using a specific concept? Here is his Instagram: instagram.com/p/8XXufbuND0/

I think he is saying the Zebra keeps following him around his house and he doesn't know what the fuck in going on. Direction for the shower pic? Needs to rinse him out of his hair?

Just my pov - without being an expert, just a student of voice. It's really pretty easy to sing the pure 'eeeee'. In vocal exercises, where we do the ah, aye, eee, ohh, uu . . . the eee sits in your head, 'right there', so to speak. The harder vocal tone is the 'ay' . . . it wants to fall back into your throat, away from the front of your vocal 'presence'. It's like the 'eeeee' opens the front door; the 'ay' is keeping the door open, softly - - no slamming it shut or swinging it open. I may not be making much sense, because so much of the tone begins in the brain and the emotions . . . but, Adam's slant to 'aaayee' takes much more vocal control and presence then the 'eeeee' . . . especially when one wants to round the tone and keep it frontal but not screechy. The most beautiful voices are ones that feel as if a dream is coming out of your head. The only effort is in breath. The sound comes from a secret space within. I remember once watching a programme where an opera singer said that she felt all opera should be sung in Italian because the language sounds were more conducive to producing beautiful notes - especially at the ends of 'lines' that had to be held. Perhaps why Italian opera is so prominent. My tup*&@^# worth.....never thought how the words affect the ability to form the sound before.

LOL! Gawd no. I was on a bus and nearing my stop when I posted earlier. I had to type quickly and keep it short so as not to miss my stop. Cassie or someone else may explain it better but what I meant is that Adam pronounces the long eee sounds as aaay sounds in the song and my ears like it. I believe there is technical reason or methodology for doing this but I'm not qualified to explain it. I just know how I react to it. So the Russian singer is actually pronouncing the word correctly (as did KA in NoBo) and Adam is modifying the pronunciation a bit to produce the notes a certain way. This should be clear as mud now. :-) Only messing with ya, glad you took it in the spirit it was intended...

EmoElvis SPIKEY lol Hey! When he looked like this I fell in love with him beyond measure! Thought his fashion sense and his use of makeup and eyeliner was edgy, brave, and quite spectacular! I've evolved right along with him . . . both of us might shake our heads at the look, today, but a few years ago I stood up and shouted 'YES!' - - - as if I lived in his daring, proud, in-your-face fuck-you declaration of let it be! God, I loved the feeling, the freedom, he gave me. That's my original high. Exactly! Very well put....don't knock the look...
