Oh ohhhh... Downloaded the stems, installed audacity and it seems that I am going to learn yet another skill because of Adam. It is absolutely AMAZING to be able to scroll back and forth, zoomed in to the max on these tracks. Isolate every vocal track, the bass, special effects, rhythms, everything. Never knew how much of a pleasure it would be to unravel the exact composition of a song. Now I would really really really like the stems of Ghost Town. I don't suppose there is a secret place on the web that has these lying around, right? I think that the guy (or girl?) who made the Logan mashups didn't need to have the original Ghost Town stems. He combined the instrumental stem of one song with the acapella stem of another. As far as I understand it is quite possible to isolate those from the original song. I know right! It's really fun just to mute and isolate all 19 stems in the song, and in different combinations, ALN sounds different. I now understand what remixers have so much fun doing what they do! Sadly, the Internet does not have GT's stems, but if you could hack into Warner Music's databases, it would be there yknow! Along with the stems of every song on the album But here are some stems of other songs I've found online, someone compiled it all into two MEGA folders. There's some Queen stems here as well: (1: A to M) MEGA A-M FOLDER HERE(2: N to Z) MEGA N-Z FOLDER HEREActually, I'm pretty sure Logan (the mashup artist) needed the stem for the whistle. In the instrumental for GT, there is no part where the whistle is not accompanied by the house beat. This means that if he had used the instrumental, he would have had to add both the whistle and the house beat. But this was not the case, because in his mashup, he only added the whistle, and not the house beat. Hence I concluded that he had to have the GT whistle stem, which Warner Bros probably gave him (so that he could use it for his mashup, which would end up being used as promo for GT because Beliebers would've heard it + it did get featured on a few press sites. And it explains why Adam only responded to that one mashup). Ah thank you! Now off to google "how to hack into Warner Music's database" Hope my fellow techies at work won't find out. Or.... maybe they could help

Brian May was just on Loose Women. Talked abit about Isle of Wight, saying how they used to want to be in control of their entire set, but now they're trying out festivals. Also talked about how Adam was so good he made people cry, why playing QAL RIR GT in the background. And also talked about his relationship with his wife Anita (also one of panelists), and the troubles as they grow older, etc. twitter.com/TALCvids/status/664799904376741888

I have to say that the production on TOH is fascinating. Each time I listen I discover something new or something suprising. The unique production continues to make it a very interesting album. And, I love Adam's playfulness and sincerity. I also love that this album is so different then what he has done before. It's a treasure. In the past, I loved Adam's live performances more then the album tracks. I'm still getting used to the new band but at this point I still like the album production more then the live performances. Can't wait to hear it live and in person. As always I'm sure I'll be surprised! I have been curious who they got to play this at the beginning of "Things I Didn't Say" --

Videowww.billboard.com/articles/events/greatest-of-all-time/6746402/adam-lambert-90s-songs-coversAdam Lambert's Five '90s Songs He Wants to Cover: Madonna, Michael Jackson & More By Billboard Staff | November 12, 2015 8:50 AM EST Although he fronts one of the biggest arena rock bands of the '70s (Queen) and made his biggest Idol mark singing '80s single "Mad World" by Tears for Fears, when it comes down to it, Adam Lambert is a kid of the '90s. That's when he really started paying attention to music, and in the video above, Lambert shares the "five '90s songs I could work it out on stage with." He'd open with some dance music. "Crystal Waters' '100% Pure Love' for a little '90s dance groove momentum," he says. "And 'Black Hole Sun' by Soundgarden. I love that crazy, strange melody." Watch Lambert run through his other preferred '90s picks in the video above.

Definitely in the running for my 2016 calendar. He has given us so many jaw-dropping, stunning photos, I don't know where to start! But, yes, I will be working on one in the next couple of weeks if you want to PM me with your favorite hi def pic that MUST make it into the calendar collection. Or if you want a link to the project when complete.
