"RIP Freddie: I hope I make you proud. Wish we had met. Thank you for your beautiful songs and once in a lifetime magic"--Adam Lambert When I saw that on IG, I teared up...

Anxious to see if Adam will comment on David Bowie's new album when it comes out. UltimateClassicRock @ultclassicrock 53m53 minutes ago Don't expect too much straight-up rock & roll on @davidbowiereal's upcoming album: ultimateclassicrock.com/david-bowie-blackstar-2016/ …
I was a huge Bowie fan back in the 80s (much to DH's displeasure... A pattern!I managed to watch the whole 10-minute Blackstar MV yesterday, and didn't know what to think. His new music is really ambitious and he obviously doesn't care about commercial success. Lucky man.

It was a fun interview. Given his preference I find his favorite word pretty funny in a WTF kind of way. Given how much he uses it (not casting aspersions cause so do I) I'm surprised it wasn't fuck. Maybe he was just getting a kick out of the fact that "that" word seems to be freely used in the UK. We certainly hear it a lot in some films! I think even fuck (a word I use a lot) is more accepted in the US than cunt (I can barely make myself type it, in fact, haha!). I think cunt when said with a British accent just sounds like a more every day word... (cue scene from movie Snatch) www.youtube.com/watch?v=aocAU7nW3D8
