Ghost hang in there buddy. Things like this go on everywhere and the world continues to revolve. It might draw a lot of attention from the conservative religious right there but in all honesty what percentage of the total population of Singapore is that? In the big scheme of things it will not matter. Thanks for the kind words. I'm still in shock, but I don't believe this petition will change the decision to headline Adam. Not only because all the professional arrangements have already been made, but also because the people who signed it simply do not represent everyone, like you said. I think it was probably some religious groups spreading the petition among themselves. As well as the older generation, who is conservative. As for the young ones, teenagers in Singapore are really more open, and I don't believe that they will have any problems with Adam's performance. In fact, I remember this article from that time when Adam was here on the WAG tour. It just shows that there's an entire side of Singapore that loves and appreciates him! I'm with you, ghost, though my reaction was less shock and more exasperation and embarrassment by proxy. I'm trying to hold to the belief that the more open-minded and sensible people also tend to be less likely to spout stuff all over the internet; gritting my teeth to sit on my hands and NOT to respond to that silly petition beyond blocking the facebook acquaintance who shared it. Just think back to the election earlier this year - a lot of noise and complaints, but the quiet majority ignored them. (eyeroll) I just look forward to the day they (or everyone else around them) realise how foolish all this hysteria is.

I hate to spread "bad news" on Thanksgiving -- but this just DISGUSTS ME. I find it absolutely distasteful and disrespectful. I don't even want to describe it. It's a petition that is going around against Adam's NYE show that has already gotten 5,524 signatures and 2,136 negative comments. I am so, so upset. I can't believe it. I want to take down the entire website. I am in shock. Please only read what you can take. The amount of hatred is unbelievable. www.ipetitions.com/petition/against-adamlambert-countdown2016ETA: Why? Why must there always be a group of assholes who constantly criticise him whenever he has a concert in Singapore? WHY?!?!
Please don't spread the petition. The number of signatures is already growing at an alarming rate. That's pretty annoying. Kind of seemed like we'd passed by most of that reactionary stuff.
