My happy place in a little corner of my bedroom and the first thing I see when I wake up. Takes away all the nastiness in the world. Glad people all over the world are rallying around our Adam. Visited Singapore a few years ago and was blown away by the cleanliness and friendliness of the people. I guess there are still some who live on the dark side. (Thanks Bamafan for the pillow).

Actually during or after Idol the idols actually went to the stock exchange and rang the opening or closing bell! I remember Adam was holding Allison's hand, so cute.

A few more thoughts: Would these haters have reacted the same way if Sam Smith had been booked? Will Adam sing "There I Said It"? Hope so. Seems that this whole thing has got a lot of people supporting Adam worldwide. Not a bad thing! It's just mind-boggling that people still have such antiquated attitudes.
I say let's give ALN some EXTRA EXTRA hits right up through New Year's Eve and beyond. The best way to support him.
I wonder if there will ever come a time when Adam will not have to face this kind of BS.

Seems there's a 12 minute interview vid from China. A fan is working on putting it up for us to see since it's geo-blocked.

Adam has a golden opportunity to change hearts and minds in Singapore. He will perform strong and proud, using his best strengths: his voice, his music, his words, his honesty and his sheer guts. I hope he sings "There I Said It." That song has more meaning than ever now. Adam will walk the walk and teach by example. This NYE performance will be one for his memoirs.

Definitely something to remember - how fast these things can turn around, for better or worse. 24 hours, even 12 hours ago, I was not a particularly happy camper - frustration, exasperation, annoyance. And now, after all the reporting, support and commentary, his latest tweet has me tearing up, but in a good way. How does he do it? Getting through everything, giving out encouragement and hope, leading by example. (sniffle) And the fans pull themselves around him. (shakes head, stops talking and walks away with an image of a wet sniffly blanket wrapped around him) Because he knows these people are a minority. And he knows the world view of "gay" has changed in a big way, a positive way. Would not be a bit surprised if the organizers, WBR, and Adam's PR team did not expect something like this might happen. ff If I were a WBR exec I'd be dancing round my office right now. Maybe I'd even have secretly initiated the initial petition, foreseeing the outcome. Personally, I think it's a wonderful day to be Adam Lambert!
